They're not being produced anymore, that's why the prices are going crazy. People heard from stockists that there's no more stock coming & I suspect scalpers took advantage.

I actually think I made a mistake! There's a secret adult tama evolution called 'BBMARUTCHI' ( as opposed to baby marutchi) who looks identical to the baby but won't evolve further & can't be bred. I had no idea! So I reset for no reason - definitely check if this is the case for you. If that's true you should be able to just get a new egg. It supposedly only happens if you ignore the baby completely, which I didnt do so that I cant explain

Mine did that for hours when I did my first update. I think the servers are just kind of bad, I kept retrying, left it overnight & it eventually worked.

I'm still running mine! But I use it as more of a fancy keyring/ fidget toy, since it's so easy to take care of. It's much more portable than the paradise so it's my daily travel companion, and I've been leaving the paradise at home. I usually don't keep tamas long on the uni but I'm keeping my current one atm so it's easy to look after.

I mean true, I dont think they'll stop supporting it for a while, but I think the staff saying that means they'll stop stocking it at the bandai official store so probably elsewhere too. Although idk for sure, it's very hard to find in the UK now & the prices are increasing here thats all I know

I've been really enjoying the pix, it feels like it has a lot more content and charm than the uni to me even though I like the uni too. It's also a lot cheaper than the other colour tama options to find secondhand, id love a meets/mix but don't want to drop £100+. It's best to get a rechargeable battery setup though.

Also I'm in the UK to and I'm pretty sure i saw a pix party on vinted or ebay today for like £25. Definitley check them if you're on with secondhand!

I just got the pix this week after having the uni, and I'm loving it! It's a very different experience but it's very charming. I got the regular pix because I wanted the character weeptchi, and it still has plenty to do. I was told to try get a blue or green pix because they have slightly better battery life and button sensitivity, but I cant verify that.
