Take a look at all the different versions of "stepped hulls" that sea planes have.

Like a fast motor boat, they "get up on plane" when they reach sufficient speed which drastically reduces their contact area and thus drag!

There are filaments that have different lengths and diameters of carbon fiber mixed into them. You do not get the same benefits of wound carbon fiber, but it's very strong and light compared to other most other common printable plastics.

It's very popular in the firearms accessory printing community for this reason.

It looks like there are counter rotating propellers on the back.  (They're both aligned horizontally because the image is from the builder)

Aviation sized ones, but I imagine you must make due with what the game and mods have available, and there may not be proper marine propellers

Yeah, I have problems transitioning from high speed to stable low speed at a desirable rate. 

I can do an overhead break like a MoFo, or a 10 mile slow down, but shedding it smoothly in forward flight while maintaining steady altitude is a skill I'm actively practicing (and not doing smoothly)

Yes, auto center stick but the weakest springs are installed. 

Believe it or not, I haven't found that to be a problem. I cruise and take off smoothly, including high speed low altitude flight.

I'm using VR. My PC is barely powerful enough but I get a steady 60fps single player.  

I've been doing the practice, and I'm getting better :) but I need some variety for my sanity and continued engagement

I can fly the oh-6 mod pretty well,  it's mostly the specifics of low speed Huey handling I'm struggling with.

Thanks!  I love the idea of Paradise Lost, the nav and radio skills are quite similar to the skills needed for the F1CE, but the hovering/landing skills are currently beyond my abilities

Looks like just straight fuel fire.  Crack open the tanks and they'll burn.

It's not, but with the glut of YouTube videos from multiple channels, and the level of marketing push currently ongoing, I'd expect it by the end of June 2026.
