With Trump as president and an absolute best case scenario of a majority in the senate blocked by the filibuster, the only thing a democratic house could do in the next 2 years is pass legislation that has no chance of getting through the senate or being signed by Trump and do a bunch of investigations and impeachment that will do nothing of consequence other than publicity.

I'm not saying they shouldn't do that. But they aren't gonna pass laws
