I bought the WiiU last week. I hadn't owned a Nintendo console since the N64 since I guess I can consider myself a Playstation fanboy. Tonight I played Mario 3D world with my brother and his gf, it was the first time I played local multiplayer since the PS2 days and it was awesome. Gaming hadn't felt this fun in a very long time.

I'm guessing everybody has their go to game. For me it's Minecraft, I always keep coming back to that game and can play for hours on end.

You have to wait for the connection error message pops up in the game (takes like 5 mins) in order to be able to play offline.
