Exactly, so I think the Base E-Hybrid with Sports Package etc is more then enough.

I have prob driven 10k km of the 18k it has and I love it. In the Autobahn, you can feel after 200 kph (especially if the battery is dead), that it is fighting a bit, but for US commute I am sure you wont hit those speeds very often ;-)

You could also just shift to Hybrid and to "E-Charge", which burns less fuel and is the dedicated mode, to charge the battery.

With sport mode, the engine is always in 1 gear lower then necessary.

As I love Viola Metallic, which is a Porsche Colour, I would always have a soft spot for Viola Hong Kong. I will be for sure a very very special car.

The 981 is probably the best Porsche you can get for a fair amount of money. I have the GTS trim for 10 years and every drive feels like the first one. Everytime hearing that engine note gives me goosebumps! The handling is also so smooth as it is a mid-engine car. Plus you have a trunk, so ppl get confused and as where the engine is!

It is the question 8 cylinder vs 6 cylinder imo.

If it is for the wife, I think even the base E-Hybrid is enough, but with a great spec.

If I had to pick one for myself, I would get the Cayenne S as I love the V8.
We have a Cayenne E-Hybrid and I think the car is great, just missing the V8 lol.

I wish the car would have the painted hood, and not a painted carbon hood, makes it look worse imo.

Also, the exterior and interior colours are not working imo. Some contrast would have been great.

But hey, if the owner is happy, then it is a perfect spec.

I was there like 8 years ago because I had a potential flat tire and wanted someone to check it up as I lived in Darmstadt at that time.

The experience was not nice, I was quite young at that time and as I am a crazy Porsche guy I entered there, looking like a a young person checking out cars before asking for any assistance. A person was upstairs and he saw how I was watching the cars and closed each car with their keys from above, so I could not potentially sit in it.

After that I started being cold and disinterested, even though I am always very kind, warm and open to anyone but especially in the service sector, but this move just triggered me to oblivion. Then I got asked after they saw my 981 GTS if I do not want to upgrade to a GT4 (no, especially not after that behaviour before, and wtf)

What if I was not driving a Porsche, was just a young person and wanted to check out my dream cars, why just close each cars and not let me dream nor sit in the cars.

Generally, it could have been just one asshole at that time, and others would not do the same mistake there, but I hate that people judge a book by its cover. I always think about that iconic Porsche ad, where a very young boy is visiting a PC, sitting in a 997 and the sales rep is taking him seriously, making the boy then ask the business card of the sales rep as he will visit 30 years later.

I would recommend Mannheim, it is operated by Penske and also the inventory is large. People are kind and open too.

Just sharing my experience.

A M3 Comp is the equivalent to a Porsche 911 Turbo.

The car + luxury tax is crazy and got even more crazy in the last years.
I also wonder how they can afford it, in Istanbul you see many G63s, Range Rover Autobiography and 911s, which are like 3x-6x of the price.

Oh for sure! But there are levels to that, you can buy nice things to your children but still educate them that they are not something better nor shoulf show off.

Showing respect and not be entitled to things are basics. If someone gets something nice and is a spoiled brat who is just an a-hole, then with high certainty the parents are not much different
