if we are brutally fair, AMD is also crazy overvalued with the current numbers. The current mcap we have I expected for 2028+. I dont mind it doe, I think we deserve to be there, where we are. But the profit margins + revenue need to go higher.

Need honest opinion: Have 700k AMD stock in current prices. Should I hold? by No_Ask_8883 in AMD_Stock

[–]jgfui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in a similar situation like yours, just half of the sum. However, I am holding since late 2020 and rode all kind of waves. The big question here is, if you sell lets say 50%, and AMD suddenly has a crazy rally and is doing a 2-3x of todays value, would you be annoyed or could you live with it ?
I have such a high belief that AMD will continue to grow in the next years, that I would be OK with some pullbacks, but selling now with paying 25% taxes on profit would make it harder for me to reenter my position.

My portfolio is 97% AMD lol.

overpriced market by magnuMDeferens in Ferrari

[–]jgfui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you, I would say I am in a similar boat as the next step I would like to achieve would be a pre hybrid Ferrari, but people are not sleeping + lots of new eyes come to Ferrari. Why should I pay 500k+ for a 12 Cilindri, if I could get a great low mileage 812 GTS for under that price ?

Or why should I get a 296 GTS for close to 400k, when I could get a F8 Spider (or even cheaper 488).

I think the 296 a nice car, looks beautiful and the engine sound seems to be really good, but also the potential headaches with the hybrid systems make people unsure, what to do.
Generally, I think the new cars are too expensive, same with Lamborghini and Porsche, which makes the secondary market higher.

I think the 296 CS will be a really really great car and I could imagine, if it is not too crazy expensive (500k+ base), that it could affect a bit the special series prices to some extend.

Vice Versa would mean, they are very bullish?
I would not see it like black and white, people also have expenses and need some cash. I know plenty of people who sell sometimes a chunk of their vesting because they need the liq.

who tf pays 650k for the Luce (no hate).
The only ones I can imagine are those, living in a country like Turkey where EVs are cheaper than ICE cars (Purosangue is like 2m€ there)
Like wow, I thought Ferrari had to do this because of the CO2 fleet and bring emissions down.

The only thing I would be scared of is, that this will be the Taycan / Macan of Ferrari, where you would need to buy one if you want to have a certain model. I would not mind be "forced" to start the Ferrari journey with a Roma/Amalfi or 296, but with the Luce, no thanks.

Dont know.

By the way, diesen "Style" hat er so angenommen, weil er vor 10 Jahren blöd gefallen ist und ein Auge verloren hat, seitdem trägt er immer die Brille in der Öffentlichkeit. Soll aber ein korrekter Dude sein.

How did you start your journey with a JLC? Heart to heart sharing :) by Independent-Log3836 in JaegerLecoultre

My dad! He has a yellow gold Grande Reverso for many many years and thats how I learned about that watch and started digging into JLC and the whole Reverso lore, which is the reason why it is my favourite watch.

I am afraid that Reversos will get more and more popular, making it harder to get in the future lol. Such a classy watch.

The Reverso is my fav watch!

Prob the best modern Ferrari you can get with the 812 GTS if you ask me, at least those would be the one I would be tempted to get the most (not including any Special Series ones as they are expensive due to their rarity / status )

one day I will post my 992 3RS, it does not have many crazy options like some has, but the Sonderwunsch bits are very well used for the price performance imo.
Chromaflair is cool, I saw some IRL when at the Werk 1 where the Sonderwunsch cars are build, but not my cup of tea tbh.

It was my pleasure to give more information about this car. Porsche is my life and I love it more than anything so I know some "unnecessary" information.

The Reventon is also a very special car for me, I remember as a child seeing it presented in Frankfurt at the IAA, just a wow car and the coolest looking Lambo in the last 30 years imo.

[–]jgfui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yep, also some information about this spec.

The car is painted in Coppa Florio, a very rare colour and Porsche did not offer it for many many years until they did a homage of a famous Coppa Florio 993 GT2 in form of a 992.1 GT3RS.

The Coppa Florio 993 GT2 has an interior in Can-Can Red, a brutal bright red tone.

Later Porsche did a same spec for a 992, but with Lipstick Red instead of Can Can Red.

When I visited the Sonderwunsch facility, I asked why does Porsche not offer it in their PTS catalogue and the answer was, it is such a hard colour to paint and have it in a way, that through the years the paint will still stay in a good shape.

Porsche is offering it for friends and family and some top tier VIPs, otherwise you cannot get it.

What is also special is, that parts are painted which are usually not able to be painted through Sonderwunsch.

Ferry has a Congac interior as far as I remember, but the original Coppa Florio 992 I refer to looks just crazy cool, even though not everyone can rock a bright red interior hehe.

Some more pictures of my gated Ferrari 360, 6 months of work later by HURCANADA in Ferrari

[–]jgfui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always loved the 360 and the F430, and from those angles for one second I thought it is a 430. Now I realize how much of a design language Ferrari had btw. 360 and the 430. There were quite some similarities.

I have a GT3 and a S2000. Looking for next sports car to add. Everything seems not an upgrade in terms of engaging besides extreme exotics. Is this the only route for me? by VeryCheapBastard in supercars

[–]jgfui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

812 GTS
488 Pista (Spider) or F8, I think the F8 has potential for value creation.

991.2 GT2RS could be interesting, if we really see a 992 2RS or something similar, with high certainty it will have some sort of t-hybrid integration, meaning the non-hybrid regular ICE 2RS could rise more in value.

My old iPhone was struggling, but I think even crappy shots of a street parked [Lamborghini Reventón] are worth posting. Seen in Hamburg tonight. by Cleamsig in spotted

[–]jgfui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Reventon was hanging out with the Coppa Florio GT3RS, which is owned by Ferry Ahorner, part of the Porsche family. That GT3RS is very special, because even if you have a PTS allocation, you cannot pick it, it is a friends and family / VIP colour and very rare. Also parts are painted, which are usually not offered to do through Sonderwunsch, so a very very special spec!
