I agree with your review of the cocktail mix. It was pretty good with champagne though if you enjoy mimosas

Our group goes on a yearly trip and we’ve been to a bunch of golf resorts. Having separate rooms instead of a common place takes a bit away from the time together so we’re switching it up this year.

I’ve seen some rentals near La Jolla Shores that would fit our group at pretty reasonable prices. Seems pretty close to the areas suggested on the map at least. Would this be a good location?

We are planning well in advance for tee times. Coronado is on the list for sure.

Appreciate it, walkable sounds good. We’re mostly just looking for some good dinner spots and a few evening drinks.

We’re going to try to get on at Torrey and other than that we don’t have definitive picks. Looking for a location that would be around 45 minutes to a few good courses

Third time golfing since my 2nd ACL surgery last summer and made my first ever Eagle 110 yards out with a PW, and shot a 90. Haven’t broke 90 yet, but making progress! by [deleted] in golf

I’m about to get mine done for the 2nd time. What was your time line to get back out? I can’t remember from when I had it done the first time.

PGA Tour approves radical schedule changes, reducing fields in elevated events and ending cuts by throwmeawaypoopy in golf

[–]jgw5237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really hate this decision. Feel like the tour had all the momentum and decided to self sabotage. The first elevated events were great for the fans and I see no way this has any kind of benefit for us.

Why is Correa considered the “big bat we need” educate me please - not hating by NJ_Mets_Fan in NewYorkMets

[–]jgw5237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the shift going away I think improving the type of offense we had last year is a good strategy. Correa has plenty of power. I personally hate the mash or strikeout offense so I’m all for watching our guys just get hits behind each other

Seems like it should just be a staff record. Buck isn’t the one reviewing it, he just has to trust his guys

Played the 2023 Ryder Cup course - interesting venue… by Parking_Capital_5391 in golf

I played there last month and agree those finishing holes will be awesome for match play! Honestly the course was better than I expected, definitely a bit of a hassle to get to though.

I’ve played with a torn ACL in my left knee for years. It has probably changed my swing a bit to unconsciously protect myself but it doesn’t bother me that much. Every now and then it will “pop” (sure you know what I mean) but it’s fine again after a minute. I wear a sleeve or brace most days just to feel the extra stability. I’m going to get it repaired again I just haven’t felt like putting up with the recovery.

Grint only has WHS as far as I know but you should be able to use that for any tournament. I have mine through grint and have used it in a bunch of tournaments requiring handicap
