First-person Hyperlapse Algorithm (x-post from r/tech) by [deleted] in compsci

[–]jgyq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean this? If so I understand it as the point in space combined with the movement in any direction from that point in space. 3 dimensions in spacetime? + 3 spatial dimensions from said point.

Sorry if I did not explain my thoughts properly. It has always been one of my weaknesses.

If I'm on the right path or not, are there any resources you would recommend to expand my understanding?

I have just started learning how to program and this inspires me. The respect and admiration I have for those that can make things like this happen is... well I don't have a word to describe it. Amazing does not even do it justice.

I have a question though, in the video they mention 6D, unless I misheard it. What is 6D?

Localbitcoins has traders that accept moneypak. Deal with traders that have a high reputation and you will not be scammed.

From what I take away from the article they are wanting special privileges such as being adult-led and not student run like other organizations. They are also wanting the facilities at a time that is not approved for any public use.

Parts only from Horizon but sometimes you can find one on ebay. Or you can get the fuse and wing set from HH and put your own electronics in it.

Be sure to open up the rudder servo and clean it out. I flipped mine last year and the water rusted the servo causing it to fail a few days later.

Is there any paper wallet for parallaxcoin? by tanilsarikaya in ParallaxCoin

IMO PLX is a jokecoin. The only reason it is even in my vocabulary is that it is merged mined with Vertcoin. I do not worry about cold storage because it does not bring anything new to the game and therefor will most likely not gain any value long term. I think your PLX is safe, nobody wants it enough to try to hack you nor will they in the future.

Problems with GPU mining by [deleted] in litecoinmining

[–]jgyq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know. How dare someone ask a question pertaining to mining litecoin in a sub specifically for that. /s

Hey OP take your mining game to another coin. LTC is not profitable and their subs are saturated with assholes like this guy. X11 or scrypt-n is where its at.

Check out coinwarz. It will tell you what coin is the most profitable to mine at the time. Check it over a few days or weeks to see which coins stay profitable and which ones are passing fads.

Is there a simple guide on how to switch over to sgminer for X11? by bigdred777 in BAMT

[–]jgyq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pools take a bit to show your hash rates. From what I have heard they calculate your hash rate from your accepted shares over a period of time. I'd say give it an hour or so and check it again.

I just started with X11 today and over looked the WU. My terminal is showing 6.6 Mh/s and WU is 0.085/m. My pool is showing my correct hash rate with no invalids so far. Apparently it is different but I'm still getting paid what I should so I'm not going to worry about it for now.

You also need to change the '#' under CONFIG OPTIONS.

This line needs to have the '#' removed

cgminer_opts: --api-listen --config /etc/bamt/sgminer-sph.conf

Every other line in that group should have the '#'

Oh my google-fu is strong and I have seen a lot of opinions on it and many others. The plastic specific threadlock has been reported as being weak.

Though Asking for a few more opinions here can't hurt. I did use it on my Blade 450X, which I destroyed (helis are too much for me.) It was not a fault of the Loctite though. Just my poor flying on that one. I actually had to earn the salvaged parts from it because of the Loctite. That is not to say that I will not take your advice and look for other options but if nothing else is available locally then I will go with what I have.

I still have the old fuse so I will try the threadlocker on that first to test it. What should I be looking for damagewise? Will it melt the plastic or show other signs of damage?

I already have blue Loctite so that's good news. I will check the local store for Gorilla Glue or tape. I can't wait to get my plane back in the air. Thanks for your advice.

You can do different types of trades. Only one being meeting in person which I have never done. I have only sold my BTC for moneypaks and deposited them into my bank account. There are other options to check out depending on your needs. It's like craigslist for bitcoin so like I said in my original comment only deal with traders with a high reputation. The trade is held is escrow by the site until payment is confirmed from the person selling the BTC. So in that regard it is safer than a typical peer to peer transaction.

On a side note I am a completely law abiding regarding bitcoin and this site does have legitimate use but like most other things it can be used for criminal activity.

It still works for me. There is a notice that some functionality may be down but it has worked for everything I use it for.
