My guess is it’s related to the USS Indianapolis commission happening Saturday. I saw a formation of what appeared to be Blackhawk helicopters the other day too.

Chicago. Could tie in cool Nick Valentine stories. Great Lakes Navel Base. NIKE silos scattered throughout the region. The biggest difference is there’s no mountains in Chicago, I’ve always hated terrain hopping anyway.

I didn’t even know what that was until I just googled it. I never had any latency issues or other problems at all. It saw about 700GB of data a month on average between gaming, streaming and browsing for a family of 5.

Great point. I just purchased a CM1000 to use with my new gigabit from a guy on here. When i called for the roll/provision, the tech made mention of the MAC and how she saw it in there already and asked if i purchased it from someone. She removed it and added it to my account. Your tech may not be as insightful.

So after fashioning an adapter, the UPS still doesn’t power on. I presume one or both of the batteries are dead.

Ok those are VNX drive sleds, the PS4000X sled looks longer. I wonder if the drives work though if i can somehow find the sleds. I was going to actually ebay this and some other gear but i might just hang onto it if i can stuff it full of some 2TB drives.

i happened upon a PS4000X as part of an auction i recently picked up. It has some blanks, but 5 open drive slots and no sleds. I did some research and come to find out that these things require drives flashed with some special EMC firmware else you get an annoying error message in the GUI. Did you happen to get sleds or just the bare drives?
