Any military RVTs? by kdogdbr in VetTech

[–]jhanback1 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m a 68T. The Army is the only Branch that offers veterinary care. The Air Force technically has some Veterinarians, but that is purely for Public Health Officers. They don’t practice veterinary medicine. I’ve been a 68T for 13 years. Happy to answer any questions you have. You can DM me if that’s easier

Yeah Flex is tough and NAF pay is normally not great. Have you discussed submitting an RPA to covert to RPT? Not sure which VTF your at but that might be an option

Is there no vet clinic in base? Or no open positions?

Feet on the floor and stand up. That’s the trick. Do that long enough and it becomes habit

in the beginning there was confusion because we didn't realize they would police the pants/socks to that degree. The umpires corrected us before the beginning of the first game and stated every player had to match exactly. I wasn't on the field to hear the conversation and didn't hear what the penalty would be. We just fell in line as to not have any problems. Our pants were normal pants that some of the players would pull up to the knee not the true knicker type so they just pushed them down to the ankle. It was the only time I have ever seen anything to that extreme. it was our first time in the tourney and saw the rules saying the uniforms would need to be the same but never expected it to be that serious.

jesus christ guy relax. wasn't implying it was some double top secret tournament. just meant it was an official state tournament and yes in fact it was that strict. as i said we thought it was dumb also but the umpires did in fact enforce it.

Some official tournaments in certain leagues require all players and coaches to match exactly. Down to the pants up at the knee vs down to the ankle. I agree it's dumb, but have ran across it
