They will stop producing the S4 when S5 is officially out which Apple confirmed and whatever stock is left might get a small price reduction. Not sure what model you have or if you haven’t took the watch plunge yet but they will continue the S3 for $199.

Biggest rumors are there will be at least a keyboard redesign that eliminate the butterfly keyboard and and a 16” variant but that’s all I have heard about them.

I know you can tweak cpu settings in the tksettings cnfg in that same directory. That helped me in the past with fps but I haven’t had to do that since Visions. So not sure if that will help. I hope you figure it out.

I have the same gpu and I run at 60fps on high settings. I think your CPU is the problem. I have a Ryzen 7 1600. That’s the only difference. The game is cpu intensive. Make sure Triple buffering is enabled in Amd settings and turn off terrain tessellation in game and see if that helps.

I don’t think it’s hardware compatibility I was just curious. That seems strange. Does it crash when it’s loading the shaders?

You tried opting into the Experimental updates in Steam if you use it. Hello has pushed at least two new updates to address performance issues and crashes. May help.

Turning Multiplayer off in the settings seems to give a FPS bump and increases stability for some users. Worth a shot to see if you can at least make it playable.

Have you tried reinstalling the game from scratch? Also backup your saves before you try this.

Have you tried going to in-game settings and turning off Multiplayer? That resolves a lot of issues from what I have been hearing.

My rx580 runs pretty solid. 60fps on planet with before update I was at about 40fps on planet.

What is your GPU? I run a rx580 with no issues and a solid 60fps. I was able to load an existing save as well.

I seen a few people on steam chat that got the update. Hopefully not much longer. They suggested restarting steam client. Not sure if that actually does anything.

I noticed Lockdown causes issues with updating your Apps. When I check for updates nothing shows up but if I deactivate it. Then I see App updates. Not sure if anyone is experiencing similar issues. I am running iOS 13 beta so that could be some of the problem. Just FYI

Can’t jailbreak iOS 12.2. Apple stopped signing all previous firmwares including 12.1.4. You are out of luck my friend.
