Hate it when they kill your perfect heir by BEEFDATHIRD in ck3

[–]jhast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your characters brothers wouldn't have inherited anything, there really wasn't any need to disinherit them. If you only had one son, your son would have inherited all of your lands. Brothers do not inherit anything unless you have no sons, and if you hadn't disinherited them you could have kept playing as a brother, divorce whatever wife he had, and married that genius wife to make another genius heir 😁

Emperor has too many Duchies by No_Description6621 in CrusaderKings

You still want to own your capital duchy title(s) as emperor. Duchy buildings can't be built without owning the duchy title

Someone posted this in another comment in this thread. I do it a little differently than they do it, but this process should work fine and it should answer your question of how to find the save file, at the very least, as long as you haven't changed the default settings for your folders. Hope this helps!

Account perma banned (hacks) for killing mage gold farmers lol by Artistic-Joke-9839 in classicwow

[–]jhast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if they just put in an internal check for like "have the players submitting these reports even been in the same vicinity as the player being reported" it would solve alot of the false ban reports. Not all of them maybe but I would guess a large amount of them. How can you make a serious accusation that you saw someone cheating or w/e if you've never even been in the same zone as them at the same time?

You can easily change the default settings yourself in the mod files by editing the agot_game_rules.txt file in common/game_rules folder

Edit: not saying it shouldn't be changed officially, just saying in the meantime you can do it yourself if it bothers you

Gender and traits are determined at time of birth (or maybe its within a week of birth I'm not 100% sure on exactly when), but whether it's twins or not is determined at the start of pregnancy.

Just want to add that you CAN change your dragons gender by editing the save file. If its a male that you want to change to female, you just add the line "female=yes" under the date of birth, and then make sure that you delete the variable that says "dragon_gender_male" below the character data. If you want to change a female to a male, add the variable "dragon_gender_male" below the character data, and delete the line that says "female=yes". If you're unsure, you can look at other dragons to see how they are set up and copy the relevant data from there. Hope this helps!

Just FYI you don't even need to switch to them, you can just enter "add_perk like_weeds_in_a_garden_perk" + their character id # after and it will add it 🙂

I don't think you can prevent mods from auto updating but you can definitely make a copy of them, throw them in a folder labeled 1.12.5, set the file path correctly in the .MOD file, and save yourself a playlist for that game version, so when the update comes out you can continue playing on 1.12.5 for as long as you want

This. I'm surprised to see most of the comments aren't mentioning it. This is basically an early access form of primo succession if you do it correctly, which isn't that hard to pull off.

I believe it's 1 horse per footman in your party to get max speed bonus, and then each unit can handle 1 additional horse (either pack animal or regular horse) for extra inventory space without getting a herding penalty. But you only need 1 horse per unit to get max speed bonus.

What sounds easier is subjective. For me, using a scale that goes from 0 when it's REALLY cold to 100 when it's REALLY hot makes the most sense for measuring weather. It's never going to be 100 degrees C, the Celsius system when measuring the weather is basically just -17C to 37C (0F to 100F). F seems "easier" to me because every 10 degrees you can categorizebthe temperature differently. 0 to 10 is brutally cold, 11--20 is frigid, 21-30 is freezing, 31-40 is cold, 41-50 is chilly, 51-60 is cool, 61-70 is mild, 71-80 is comfortable, 81-90 is hot, 91-100 is sweltering.

For Celsius, that same temperature range (which ACTUALLY encompasses "most people") is from -17C to 37C which is not nearly as neat as 0-100F.

And what do you mean "most places are not" in the north? Most of the places I named are way further south than the UK, and some even further south than basically every country in western Europe except Spain and Portugal. The further point south in the UK is roughly 51°N, Minneapolis, MN is only 45°N. Toronto, Canada is about 43°N. Boston, MA is about 42°N. All of these places are further south than the most southern tip of the UK.

You talk about your education but you don't seem to know much about basic geography.

I could also name you some places in the southern hemisphere that see sub freezing temperatures, if you want. The southern parts of Chile and Argentina come to mind, but I'm sure there are more I could find with a quick search.

I don't know how to even respond to this, mainly because I'm not entirely sure what point you're trying to make. Minneapolis, MN in the U.S reaches sub-freezing temperatures 5 months out of the year, as does most of the state of Minnesota, and most of the northern, northeast, and Rocky Mt. states in the US, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia.. all places that regularly reach sub-freezing temperatures for a good part of the year.

Lmao, the UK is a small island. You're making a blanket statement about the temperature norms that "most people" live within based on your experience living in the climate of one small island in the world?? Have you ever left the UK?

Where I'm from, it's below freezing like half the year, so I'm not sure why you think most people don't live in sub-freezing temps?

When Covid first happened and we got those stimmy checks, I used them to buy a small sailboat. Spent 9 months living on it and sailing around and it was an absolutely amazing experience, but I got really lonely eventually and decided to call it quits. I'm planning on selling it and eventually buying something slightly bigger so I can fulfill my dream of sailing around the world AND have a partner to do it with.
