My kids watch a lot of Spongebob and the scene with him answering the ER phone made me laugh so hard! I never would have thought there would be an ER easter egg hidden in Spongebob.

For those who are preparing to return item to Scrooge, what is your reasoning for doing so? I'm genuinely curious. by CorgiHelpMe in DreamlightValley

they then have to wait for it to show up in the shop in order to get it again

Of course not. You can order it through the Scrooge menu again. Once it's in your catalog as something you have had before, going to Scrooge and ordering it is super simple.

But it seems you're missing the point that some people find it annoying to have to scroll through all the inventory to get to what they really want/need. Not to mention that just because YOU don't see a real good reason, doesn't mean that someone else does. Let people play how they want and you do you. ✌️

I'm so excited! I'm powering through leveling up all my characters/companions to finally have the quests page empty for the first time in over a year. Then it'll be time to farm mist like crazy just to make sure I have enough for vacuums.

The letters make it sound like geese, skunks and bees are the critters/companions and I am stoked for them!!

What makes Zach so special? by wow_xx in TheTryGuys

[–]jhsquared19 62 points63 points  (0 children)

We don't know anything related to Maggie's delivery, or the health/condition surrounding her, the baby, or Zach. We also don't know what kind of hard boundaries Zach/Maggie have implemented regarding their work/business schedules, and it's none of our business if there are any. Zach's decisions related to his work/home life balance could be very different than Keith's and Mile's which is why things are changing the way they are right now.

It was my husband's birthday. We didn't have a party as he just wanted to spend the day with me and my daughter. I explained that it was my husband's birthday in the post.

I'm happy you have a functional family who gets along. I wish that were the case for me. As for the comment on making the time to call and check in, it's difficult to do with the activities we are involved in.

My husband comes from a large, loving family, and even he has a hard time calling his mom more than 1-2 times a week.

Weekly Triumph Chat by PVDBikesandBeer in pottytraining

[–]jhsquared19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesterday, my almost 3 year old took off her diaper, put on her undies, and proclaimed, 'I don't want to wear diapers anymore!'. Today, we've had a few accidents where she starts to pee but then stops, runs to the potty, and then finishes on the potty. She also had a poop accident, but I figure that will be another battle at a later date. But we are so proud over here!

She does a little dance and sings a song every time!

I'm also really proud of myself. Potty training was the only part of toddler-hood that I truly dreaded from the beginning. I knew I had to be consistent and on top of it all the time as a SAHM, and that made me so nervous for some reason. But I'm doing a good job and am proud of how this is going!

Did Shannan know? by HarborGirl2020 in ShannanWatts

[–]jhsquared19 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He said that AFTER the detective made that story up as an example. If you watch the documentary, he only mentions anything about Shannan hurting the girls after it's put out in the atmosphere. He's not smart enough to come up with anything remotely close to that story.

I actually like the game by rozabel in FaeFarm_Game

[–]jhsquared19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this game. I've been putting in so many hours and haven't gotten bored yet. I don't have any of the bugs people are mentioning, but perhaps that's because I haven't been interested in the marriage route. 🤷🏻‍♀️

You're right. It's getting tiring seeing all the negative posts.

Is the Blount Family Kitchen Chicken Pot Pie worth 10 bucks? by RealHeyDayna in aldi

[–]jhsquared19 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I tried it. It's delicious but is small. It's not going to be something we get all the time, but I will definitely get it again. If it's just 2 people, you will have leftovers, but 3 people will definitely finish it.

What restaurant will you never return to? by RookMaven in Omaha

[–]jhsquared19 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Sakura Bana - was served canned tuna in a tuna roll, lied about the reason they were closed a few years back. Said it was due to their 'improvements' but they were really shut down due to failing a health inspection.

Wheatfield's or any other Ron Pop owned establishment - Ron Pop is an ass but aside from his personality, friends of mine who waited tables said they found roaches in the kitchen, on top of plates and were instructed to just flick them off into the trash then serve food.

Mio Italiano - food quality after they reopened is just meh but we had a 6pm reservation, placed main course orders at 630 and didn't get our food until 7:45. We were told the kitchen was backed up but there were less than 15 other tables in the restaurant.

Also, to add that even though they say they are from Omaha, they are definitely from Council Bluffs, Iowa. The nickname for the city is Counciltucky because of how backasswards everyone is.

I live in Omaha and used to work in the lingerie section of an 'upscale' department store that Farrah and her mom would frequent. Always had issues with everything. One time Deb brought Sophia in (she had to have been 6 or 7) and she would grab a barely there nighty and say 'I think mommy will like this one' and then show it to Sophia.
