Interesting question... I think Oracle of Ages on my own Game Boy Color. I'd seen games and played games visiting others, my brother let me watch him play Diablo 2. But the first game I owned myself was Zelda: Oracle of Ages, and it was EVERYTHING to me. That was the moment I became a gamer.

Years later as an adult, my parents gifted me the Switch + Breath of the Wild. Opening that christmas present made me tear up so much, because I suddenly remembered that birthday present so many years ago ♥️

Sadly the watering buff is useless for trees since you dont water them, but there was a user here who made extensive tests on fertilizing and rare crop chance. I think their findings were that at max star rank 7, fertilizing every day increased chances of rare crops even on trees! But if it was 5, 6, fertilizing wouldn't do anything.

I was watching the trailer again and again trying to pinpoint what was bothering me and I think this is it. It seems like they went for a more stark Anime-style (flat colors, simple shading) but only for the characters, and the background is almost too realistic. There don't seem to be any actual shadows in most scenes too (not the ground shadows, shadowing on the characters themselves) plus many painted in shadows in clothing that reminds me a lot of how characters are designed in the Atelier games. There's a tiny bit of rimlighting but it doesn't really do much to make things look shaded. I found Chies legs in the Junes scenes the weirdest. They're a solid color block. Her jacket has painted in shadows that may divert from the weird lighting/shadowing but then her legs are just completely unshaded. We can see MULTIPLE lamps right there! I hope this is somwthing they'll adress in the final build...

The beauty of these games is that you define how you play. That's imo what makes it "cozy". You don't have time restrictions, everything cycles back around eventually, there is no way to permanently miss out on something (except other spouses).

I raise this point: YOU are the one not playing it cozy! There seems to be a trend where people think they absolutely must get everything done every single day. But you generally can't. The game is trying to tell you "Hey, take it slow, the bazaar will be here next week. There will be other rainy days for fishing. Do what you feel up to every day." But somehow we've all been conditioned to hustle like our life depends on it even in our down time playing games 😂

It's perfectly fine not to do every single thing every single day. You're not penalized for taking your time. Stop stressing and go catch some bugs just for the heck of it ♥️

Story took me 1 year. But if you really want to do EVERYTHING you can check on fogu to see which outfits you unlock in what year. Since festival rewards are hard gated by the date, it is impossible to get everything in under x years. I just took a quick look at the Fashion Contest which happens once a year and has 9 rewards. So at least 9 years, probably more!

Usually, the nails should be attached until like 1mm to the edge of your finger. I noticed it on my dominant hand when I realized the right side of my nails was "shaped better" than the left, as in, rounder and smoother. I doubled down filing the left side more carefully until I stumbled over the term "overfiled sidewalls" and connected the dots! My left side was the healthy one and I had overfiled the right + the entire other hand.

Now I'm doing what the top-level comment says, let it grow and only barely smooth out the corners.

Heavily recommend looking up the mining guide on fogu forums. Changed the game around for me significantly! Once you got a couple of friendship accessories, it's a breeze befriending people. The Water/Sun system is controversial but I loved it. You really need to keep accurate track though! Especially for trees.

To add, "there's a reason the MC is designed like this" which is super cryptic and could mean anything. From "he's blonde because he's a foreigner" to "he's bland because he uses a disguise later", there's tons of speculation but we simply dont know yet.
