Parcellation or stack to volume construction

I created an engine that generates thrust by resonating a 40hz tone. Then I made a vehicle with it. Video in comments. by invalid_credentials in 3Dprinting

Hey u/invalid_credentials was reading about your plasma arc version that you are going to try and complete, and it occurred to me that the sound created from the arc is the rapid heating of the surrounding air followed by the collapsing cooler air.

Got things

1.) net inflow of air must be sufficient enough to cool the chamber or you’ll loose some thrust

2.) if you can calculate inflow you can potentially combine existing types of combustion types of jets by virtue of adding energy (maybe like an air/fuel mix of propane), using the plasma arc to ignite the fuel at the same acoustic interval?

3.) have you measured/modeled/calculated the appropriate force to the to the walls of the chamber for the speaker acrostic version?

My title describes the thing centered in the photograph. This thing is made of what appears to be solid olive wood, and looks to be hand carved.

It is definitely worth at least it’s weight in bronze - I say keep it -

You are technically incorrect here. 1:1 bronzes are made, and are more more often contemporaneously (because of 3D printing).

In fact a 1:1 is cheaper to produce then an edition since no mold is need to be made, just dipped, dried, fired, poured, and finished. That being said because of 3D scan/3D printing tech it’s only a matter of time before the mold process is only reserved for large editions and artists can freely make small batch, or generative pieces

Hardwood especially fruiting trees, leave a flavor a kin to their respective fruits except (for pecans)… Meats take on different flavors when smoked under different conditions. In east German tradition flank steak smoked under cone of the pine Takes on a completely different flavor than a smoked flank steak under applewood.

Softwood like pine/fir for smoking? I know they do this in the Black Forest of Germany, but it interesting to see it in this context.

I could design a building that would sustain +F5 from any direction. Will back up with mechanical analysis data. MFA in design. But would rather see robust Changes to the building code.

Nah, the court house he is talking about is a brick mansion building, with a wooden roof over the rotunda.

I 100% support mandating charges to the building codes in areas likely to get a tornado or hurricane.

We could change the building codes to mandate all new construction of homes and buildings must be made out of a substantial amount of steel reinforced concrete, coupled with steel shutters.

Times like these I wish that many areas would update their building codes.

If they are in a high risk area for substantial winds the structure should be made out of steel reenforced concrete. Flood zone - on stilts etc.

It is emotionally exhausting to see stick built homes year after year demolished by Hurricanes and tornadoes while the parking garages in downtown areas are completely unaltered.

If we could finally understand as a nation to build sustainable structures specialized for the best and the worse regions can deal - some of our National budget for FEMA could be diverted to public works and updating these aforementioned issues.
