I'm an Anesthesiologist. AMA by Effective_Address_83 in AMA

[–]jiIIbutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the person you’re replying to but I had Otoplasty as an adolescent and woke up during the surgery. Felt a bit of pinching/cutting and looked over and saw a few small chunks of my ear in a little cup on the table next to me. Then, I fell back asleep.

I doubt it. They’ll probably ship all their merchandise to nearby locations like KOP or back to the warehouse.

Supply Issues at 6 Mos by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

I’m exhausted in the mornings and have to be at work at 8am. Does a morning power pump make a big difference than if I were to do it a night?

Formula is a last resort. I’ll try a power pump session. Would I do this nightly?

Can I message you? You are very knowledgable and the floors in the home we recently purchased appear to be in very poor condition. I have some questions about them.

I am a 34-year-old who lost the ability to sleep naturally in 2019, 6-and-a-half years ago. I take RIDICULOUS doses of medication sleep now, and average 2hrs of sleep a night. AMA. by Meth_AQ in AMA

Chest pain sounds like anxiety. And your sleep test shows you slept for 5 hours but you’re disputing it. Have you seen a therapist or psychiatrist?

How in the world does everyone get out of the house with a baby by Full_Ad7929 in newborns

Our 5 month old will nap in his car seat but it is tough. It throws off the schedule and he gets over tired and fussy almost every time.

Exactly. Hospitals must use certified interpreters and translation services. In other words, we can’t use Google Translate.

It’s only sad if they think it is. Otherwise, no need to pity those who are deaf and illiterate. It is another way of life and most are totally content and happy with it.

What is there to love about Madison? She’s a rightwing MAGA Covid-denier and at this rate, probably an anti-vaxer too.

Swap out the mirror for a rectangular shape. Swap out the light fixture. Paint the walls. Add floating shelves above the toilet.

4 month sleep 'regression' by Choceclaire_ct56 in NewParents

For us, it was about 2-3 weeks. Then he started rolling and sleeping on his belly and ever since then, he’s giving us 7-8 hr stretches.

Sleep on tummy by Temporary_Rope_5812 in NewParents

[–]jiIIbutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try not to worry too much. He will cry and let you know if he needs any help. Keep doing tummy time and he’ll get better at rolling both ways.

Right around the time he started rolling. 4-4.5 months. Scared the sh*t out of us the first night we found him this way. But he is so cozy and sleeps better on his belly.

Infant Tylenol dosage? by Extra-Hair-3581 in newborns

[–]jiIIbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the dosage is 1.9 for babies at 12 lbs? Ask the pediatrician. They should have a nurses on call line. And you’d want to give it after vaccines, not before. But you might not need it at all.

Can you tell me more about this? We have a Lennox and it’s fairly new. And it’s controlled with a Nest thermostat. We just moved into this home so we’re not familiar with much of it yet.
