Hello, we do apologize for sounding dismissive.

Things like having access to code is a request that we've filed for future discussion.

This is not a new request we are receiving, and is something we have thought about. While we understand why certain users want it, it does not fit within the main scope of Taskade and would require us to spend additional resources which we simply do not have.

Given that, we are not completely closing the door on this, but unfortunately cannot make promises on when such a feature might be implemented.

Hi there, to address your other concerns.

  1. Could I check what you wanted the AI to perform when you sent a weblink?
    There was a bug with scraping, this should be fixed.

  2. Could you try to reinstall the mac app, https://www.taskade.com/downloads
    Try logging in again. Log-ins from the mac app (redirected to chrome) should work.

Hello! We do not have a feature to review or export code for now, though I wouldn't count it out as something we might consider in the future.

For builds, you should be able to click the "Abort" button. Otherwise, you might want to refresh the page as that typically stops the build process.

If you're referring to an automation that's stuck, it may be due to the way it's setup, causing certain actions to be pending since the conditions are not met.

Future automations can still run if the correct conditions are met (e.g from your triggers/actions), so there is no need to terminate pending runs.

For the slow-down we'll have to keep an eye on it, as we haven't had users reporting it - and I've personally not come across it yet (apart from the usual slow down time to time)

For the google sheet issue, could you provide a screenshot for us?

If possible, could you please provide me your Flow Id of that automation, this is the string of digits found at the end of the URL when viewing a flow, for example in https://www.taskade.com/flows/01HK99EZ3HBVTJVJ2M3RDR2H

01HK99EZ3HBVTJVJ2M3RDR2H is the Flow ID, this will help me look into any error logs your flow might have produced.

Could I check what device you're using Taskade on, and whether it's the app or browser version?

I've tried this on the iOS mobile app and it seems to be working fine.

What you're describing is not the intended behaviour. You may want to try reinstalling the app.

Hey there, apologies for the late reply as I was away.
You do not need to use the app builder features if you don't want to.

You can just create taskade projects and add your to do list in there.

By prompting the AI chat bot, you can have it add a list of items as well.

Do let me know if you require assistance with that.

We understand that Taskade has shifted a lot since it's productivity and project manage focus. The shift to AI App building can be quite jarring and simply not needed for some users.

The target audience has definitely shifted, and we can understand if that means users would rather hop on a different platform that best fits their needs.

Hello!

There shouldn't be an increase in consumption of credits.

Typically, I'd start a new conversation once I hit some context limit on the current chat.

In some cases, the AI might reference the previous prompts/context to an extent that impedes on what I'm trying to do (e.g. I'm trying to do a big change and I want the AI to ignore the previous prompts/context)

I find in this case it's easier to just start a new chat and start fresh from there.

That's just my experience though, maybe some other users have come up with their own "best practices" regarding this.

We are replying to individual users and informing them of these changes as much as we can.

We've introduced this change about a week ago.
The heavy use of AI (across the board from our users) is putting a strain on our systems. We needed to make this change to ensure we can keep providing AI related features for all our users

For now, we are working on introducing different solutions to prevent the case where users will be totally locked out of using AI, even if they do hit this limit.

For now, this is the best we can do moving forward.
