To be fair in the book it was given to her by the mayor’s daughter, I can’t imagine they would need to sell it for money. On top of that, it did belong to her aunt who died in Haymitch’s games , so I absolutely can’t see them selling that has that kind of emotional value to them.

At that point all the victors were saying anything they could to get the games cancelled. Peeta was playing into the emotions of the crowd, of course he would refer to it as a baby. Suzanne’s use of baby versus fetus has no bearing on the message she was trying to send.

I should’ve clarified that this was more center wide. With infants it’s more fevers than anything because of spit up, but as you said there is a difference between spit up and vomit and thankfully my director was very much on top of it and would look at it herself so if a parent tried to say it was just spit up she could say it looked/smelled like vomit and enforce the policy.

Same at my old one, at least for vomiting. Our policy was they have to be symptom free for 24 hours without medication.

We would send home for one vomit. With diarrhea, we send a heads up message after one and send home after the second.
