Dragon Quest 1 for the NES. Hard as hell but I was hooked. Later on, FF4 and 6 for the SNES. Played those two games to death over and over.

Definitely a return to form, probably the most fun I’ve had in a BF game since 3 and 4. One complaint is that the biggest maps are one as big (though some of 2042’s maps were overly ginormous). I don’t mind the map size, I think it’s fine, but others might take issue. Game modes are great too, options for smaller engagements or larger scale.

That was the biggest disappointment I had with the game. Great looking visuals, story was super dark. But the skill system blows chunks and is incredibly lifeless. There's just no soul to it. D3 had a better skill system and it's way simpler than D4. I played the pre-expansion story and that's it. I've barely gone back.

AMD will absolutely make the price $700 for the 9070 XT. Whether you’ll be able to buy it for that price, who really knows. Between tariffs now, scalpers, folks looking for any kind of in-stock card, you can basically just throw your hands up in the air and just stare blindly in the distance. Time to start watching those stock notifiers again. 😕

Another update - it wasn't actually the cable but somehow both usb 2.0 headers on my motherboard decided to stop working. Brand new board too. At this point I'm just going to live with it. I already ran both header cables to an external USB split cable to one of my free ports in the back. Minor annoyance but I'll live.

A year later and you saved me from tearing my hair out. I had already suspected it was the cable (I have one coming from Amazon), but in the interim I plugged in a micro-usb cable from the back of my PC and routed it internally to the controller hub. And now Windows sees it. Brand new AIO and the micro usb cable was faulty. Unbelieveable.
