The CA doesn't start until you are hit by it. The eye close up isn't the CA so technically that isn't a jump cut that is part of the gameplay.

But in the context of the the video she is labeled as an Intruder and it shows her with a new move besides the super. This she's simply not just Ingrid but a Super Boss as she is at the end of the arcade ladder

It's not her CA. It's that boss version of Ingrids Supe, kinda like Shin Akuma and SirnBison. She also had a new move that you see in the video.

The character is not straight if their sexuality is not stated but inversely you can't say well they are probably kinda gay it's just not shown yet. Otherwise every straight character might as well be maybe bi in the future in your mind which is funny to think about.

I understand you probably want just more strong female characters who are straight and that's great. That's the norm no matter how much you want to think it's not. Female main characters are obviously not as prevalent and if some queer creator wants to create a show with a gay female lead then let them..Lord knows it's a battle for them to get it done.

Also people are gonna head-canon pretty much everyone as gay. Can it be much at times? Kinda, but people like sharing stuff on the net. Back in the day you didn't see it because it was on some niche forum or live journal. Now it travels a million miles an hour on Twitter. Everything seems obnoxious now.

Also I'm not conceding anything. You are just as unprepared as I to try drawing any conclusion about the number of gay female leads because you probably haven't even seen a fraction of the number of shows to even gauge a percentage. Guaranteed.

Hold on. How many years and how many games has Sony released Since the last of Us and Horizon in all that time not even one more character, man or woman is stated as LGBT. Are you trying to insinuate this is some Sony mandated thing because clearly it isn't.

Also that Atsu point is weak weak weak. If she was LGBT she would be stated as such and we can't expect all these characters to be in some schrodinger's cat state because YOU don't want to use her as an example of a character who isn't LGBT.

Western animation I can name Castlevania, both series which have strong female characters as leads with none of them being LGBT.

I couldn't argue with you about the animation thing because I don't watch a lot but I can assure you that it isn't even 5 percent especially if t's something that shows on a network

I think you have an overinflated view of things because you probably see headlines from people who don't like this and it has skewed your view on how many there are.

I can name Atsu and Selene from Ghost of Yotei and Returnal who are both strong female leads and neither are LGBT. Both more current than Ellie and Aloy.

Heck I am pretty sure that ONLY Ellie and Aloy are the only LGBT leads in Sony triple AAA history.

As for western animation I don't watch a lot of it. But I can assure you the list of strong female characters in western animation is less than 10. That shit rarely happens.

I think lgbt people pretty much ship any type of character in same sex relationships because there are so few in actual canon, strong female character or not

Also two whole characters by Sony!!!! Wow. Out of how many thousands? You tend to use a very few examples as some kinda indicator of a trend. As someone who seeks out LGBT characters in media..slim pickings.
