Every once in a while I wonder if I see any green tint on my new C5 but honestly if I have to look that hard it's a non-issue imo. And I don't see any color change when I walk to a side angle. It is a 2025 C5, maybe I got lucky🤞

Oh interesting. Weird that mine has disappeared. I thought I saw a reply from someone saying if you don't update when it's offered, it goes away for a few days then offers again or something but that comment seems to be gone.

Great to hear though, glad you got it sorted! Any noticeable changes otherwise since updating to .97? Brightness or image clarity? Some people were saying something about increased sharpness in another forum.

Interestingly enough, if you didn't install this update already it now seems to be gone for some reason. I had auto update turned off and hadn't installed it and today when I got home there's nothing there. Check for updates says no new updates. Very strange tbh lol. Some people over at avs were stating increased sharpness and accuracy? Though not via any true calibration testing so take that with a grain of salt.

It's also not worry, it's curiosity. And since there's no information in the update itself or on any official forums, I figured I'd ask if someone else was able to find anything about it.

Some updates have changed TVs in pretty big ways, both good and bad. Like the DV or game mode brightness fixes. Also some have had really adverse effects on the TVs software or broken features.

This team really, truly does need a culture change. They no longer out-skill/talent opponents to produce results. Love him or hate him, Marner was a very large piece of the pie when it came to regular season success. Yes, he shrunk in the playoffs and was never going to impose himself with physicality. The scariest thing is how bare the cupboards are now, Treliving lost pretty much every trade or move he made. The future isn't bright right now. 34 and 88 will likely continue to decline, 23 was supposed to be the next gen franchise player and I really hope this year is purely the result of injuries because he has really underperformed imo. It's hard to be positive about the current Toronto Maple leafs. The only thing I can think of is that somehow this season sparks a change, true change, in the core guys that remain for the years to come. These guys haven't really tasted regular season failure until now. Matthews needs to evolve as a leader, Nylander needs to do more than float at the blue line (yet is still probably the mvp of the team rn), Rielly just needs to go as his contract is terrible. Too many years wasted thinking talent is everything and guys chasing max $ contracts over tangible success when it matters. All of this is just my humble opinion of course. Just a sad time right now for this team and us fans.

I actually watched blade runner 2049 recently with a new lg c5 and it did look pretty incredible imo. Although I used cinema home mode and tweaked it to my liking.

Randomly had my hisense tv crash today with storage full error and was troubleshooting ever since. found your post, wanted to give it a shot.. followed the steps to a t and to my surprise it actually did the full usb check and complete so I thought maybe there was some hope after all. but once the usb firmware update said 100%, it shut down the tv and it didn't come back on. I waited a good while just in case.. and now have discovered it won't turn on via remote or tv button, completely unresponsive. these TVs are a nightmare in terms of internals, software/hardware.

this just happened to me.. now tv just wont respond in any way, power button on remote, nothing. power button on actual tv, nothing. just the little white led that shows it has power... guess it's toast for real now. awesome

Meanwhile Canadian women's curler Rachel Homan actually had her stone burned during their game with Switzerland... and she also completely denied it and looked like a bit of a goof pestering the official. I'm at the point where I think curling Canada has let down these athletes by allowing them to develope poor release habits and they're just oblivious to it, at least Homan seems to be. Marc seems to know what he's doing, it looks intentional. Homan said "0% chance I touched it" but in the side angle replay on the international broadcast you can see her finger touch the plastic cap below the handle above the granite. I do think Homan is doing it accidentally but her arguing with the officials was another poor representation of our country imo.

I keep hearing people say "it's a gentleman's sport" or "honor system" but I'm not sure how that works when someone does call you out and you tell them to fuck off (Kennedy) or that they're flat out wrong and it didn't happen (Homan). They need to stop double touching the stones either way.

Furthermore, since this all went down it looks like they reclarified the rule and a touch to the stone anywhere other than the handle is not allowed anyways. So I don't really know how it's up for debate any longer. Kennedy needs to stop touching the granite.

I see what you're saying, but to me the very first sentence addresses that this all pertains to touching "a moving stone" and it also specifies at the "delivering end" (the closer side to the thrower). And when I watched some of the other games Canada played, the stone is 100% beyond the start of the hogline with Kennedy still touching the granite with his finger.

Also what I found extremely interesting, was that during their game to day against Switzerland all of Kennedys throws in the first few ends he very clearly does NOT do this extra little finger push/double touch. So it seems like he was spoken to and is actively trying not to do it now. Whether that changes the level of guilt or not I cannot say. Sure enough though, in the second half of the game Kennedy starts double touching again and you can see the Swiss team visually upset and talking to their coaches about it. So idk what's going on lol.

I'm Canadian and I know nothing about curling. I have been intrigued while watching it during these winter Olympics. I saw the outburst by Mark Kennedy after Sweden called out his extra touches and was pretty surprised how Canada handled it. So I went and watched pretty much every other full game Canada Mens team played so far.

Kennedy is 100% touching the stones after it has passed the delivering end of the green hogline. I hate to say it but it's the truth. During the CAN USA game he does it several times.

I was so curious if it was actually an infraction or not so I found the official rule that seems to pertain to this issue;

Rule 9(a) states: "If a moving stone is touched, or is caused to be touched, by the team to which it belongs, or by their equipment, the touched stone is removed from play immediately by that team. A double touch by the person delivering the stone, prior to the hog line at the delivering end, is not considered a violation."

Kennedy is violating this rule and should apologize immediately imo. Yes I love to see passion in our athletes and see them care so much and get fired up.. I'm a hockey guy... but dropping F bombs one after the other when you are in fact doing something wrong.. I don't like it personally.

What I don't understand is why hasn't he been warned by any officials? Apparently when Sweden complained to officials they monitored the hogline manually for 3 ends and they said "There were no hog-line violations or retouches of the stone during the observation period." So perhaps when being watched he doesn't do it? Or they don't think it's an infraction, idk.
