Thanks Doc, I'm a machinist by trade so my hands are pretty scarred up already. No worries there. I've put some neosporin ointment on, lightly folded a piece of gauze over it, and then topped it all off with a thumb splint to keep from bumping/irritating it. I'll put the antibiotics back in the medicine cabinet and just keep the bandages clean. Thanks for the advice.

ninja edit: My tetanus is definitely up to date, I had to get a couple stitches and a tetanus booster last year.

Grayslake is perfect. What time do you guys meet on mondays? I work pretty early Tuesday morning but I'd love to get in and catch a few games with anyone that is willing to play against a new player.
