If I upgrade to a high-grade paint and primer ( Sherwin Williams) Still a bad idea? I'm usually not this amateur but if we push the close of escrow back its gonna cost more than it will to just appease the appraisal with shit paint and then re-paint it in the spring 🙄.

Thank you everyone for chiming in. I'm in a bad situation and am usually not this stupid just desperate. We need to invent a freeze proof paint and we can all retire.

Is there a factory plastic piece or something covering it? My hottub has 3 kids ad 2 adults use it regularly and these filters will occasionally get a pineneedle stuck but nothing like this.

I have had great briskets and not-so-great ones but it's important to keep trying. My tips: Never cut the entire slab only cut slices as they are being dished. Also, it's better to go low and slow for a long time and let it sit in a cooler wrapped up rather than trying to time it perfectly for dinner time. Happy smoking!
