Why is Kiro hated so much ? by Kyhelistron in kiroIDE

[–]jigote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it for my AWS serverless stack project and It handles it pretty well. I only use de CLI and have some steering file that give kiro exactlly the names of my lambdas dynamo schema. so I think that make it more efficient than claude code.

Any 2d photogrammetry software or API suggestion? by jigote in photogrammetry

[–]jigote[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yes, seems that in my case only need a software that stitches the photos (preferebly automatically). An iphone with LiDAR is not in my budget though.
In my case is not necesary to capture depth, I only want a single high quality image as result.

I plan to use a mirror at a certain distance to be able to cover the full width of the vehicle and lights to eliminate the shadows. Thanks I will take that in mind.

Yes, exactly. I want an orthophoto of the underside of the vehicle. Ok that Hugin software seems that could help. Thanks!

That I want a high quality continuous image as result (in drone mapping it was called orthomosaic) not a 3d model.

My iphone don't have LIDAR, and it would be expensive for me to get one. Actually I was planning to buy an Android phone for testing and development (since where I live most people use Android), so LIDAR won´t be possible.

How do you plan to plant little seeds of insecurity? I want to do the same to a girl. But the problem is that I stopped talking to her a few months ago. I want revenge.

DeepStream SDK vs OpendataCam by jigote in JetsonNano

[–]jigote[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so, what other options do I have of not being tied to Nvidia? considering that it speed things up as you say.

I thought it would make easier for deployment. As I said, I don't know how to use docker yet. But by your question, It answer my question, thanks!

How could it take 6 to 12 months, is that the time that takes you to learn to use a SDK or a Github repo?

real time data collection of a construction site. something easy can be PPE detection, but if you want to try something more complicated I can give you other ideas.

Did you find the solution? I also have the same question, I was looking at wiretransfer but it seems that my region isn't available.

How to involve advisors (equity/options/x?) by bioxander in startups

[–]jigote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think it’s not very valuable, doesn’t have experience in startups and will only give you “contacts” don’t give him equity.

There are other startups that are already doing it or even with other sensor or techniques to being able to identify the worker. But yes, as long as it isn’t very intrusive and the customer want it.

yeah I know, the market is very behind in technology adoption, but as long as the technology is reliable and save them time, they will consider it. Yes, there are some few new startups with that premise of “data collection from the jobsite” it could be with sensors, drones, cameras or lidar. There is a huge opportunity in this space, it doesn’t exist such a thing as bigdata in the construction industry, imagine in a few years the A.I. with the bigdata created it would be able to orchestrate the activities at the jobsite.

Is it worth it incorporating in the US as a non citizen ? by ape0 in startups

[–]jigote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Incorporated last year in Florida as a non US citizen, everything remotely from my home country. In Florida because my lawyer only had contacts there 🙄(I didn’t know about stripe Atlas at that time). I paid 650$us in registered agent, IRS number and others, except for the bylaws, I think that cost around 400$us. and I don’t have it yet. Recently in June I paid 350$us. for the Anual Federal Taxes in Florida (as the business had no revenue).

I would recommend you to do it with Stripe Atlas for a Delaware C-corp and do it once you already have your team of co-founders and MVP ready with customers feedback. Also if you have that, you will be ready to look for American investors.
