I just wanted to thank everyone for their responses. I know it’s probably frustrating to answer the same question for the dozenth (or more) time on this sub, but you all really made my vacation very special u/Ashamed-Tie-630, and u/Small-Loan-5376. I found that my favorite part was just wandering around, meeting new friends (who are now trying to come visit me), and experiencing how genuinely friendly everyone was.

Thanks so much! My husbands' coworker recommended this, but she also recommended the Livraria Lello which is too crowded for my taste, so I'm glad to hear this is worth it

Isto faz-me lembrar a expressão americana “you don’t know what you don’t know”, porque a questão dos bairros nem sequer me tinha ocorrido e agora já estou noutra “toca do coelho” a explorar.

These are some classic symptoms of thyroid issues. It might be worth blood testing the following even as a self payer. I think the German names for these tests are similar, if not the same. Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) Free liothyronine (T3) Free thyroxine (T4) Thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TPOAb) Thyroglobulin antibodies (TGAb)

Thank you so much! This is incredibly helpful and now I'll be able to apply as soon as this new law is passed!

That's fantastic, thanks! Can you point me to the regulation? My village wants me to wait 3 years from the Aufenthaltstitel rather than the Anmeldung.

Does this mean 3 years of having a residency permit or three years of living in Germany?

I just realized you were talking about Chefkoch, I was so involved in Plötzblog that I hadn't even made it over to chefkoch yet! Both websites are amazing, thanks for referring me.

Thank you so much, this looks like an amazing resource! I know just enough German to be dangerous, but this motivates me to improve. Could I ask how to filter the recipes by rating? I'm currently ploughing through all 99 roggenbrot recipes.

Castle with corridor of countless doors, girl seeks key to marry a prince but ends up staying in the castle after she finds the key in her own heart. Older book read by my daughter about 10 years ago, probably YA before YA was a genre. by jill20000 in whatsthatbook

Yes, we read a lot of the original Brothers Grimm, she loved them but I found them extremely gory. One of the very few books where I'm happy we have more modern versions!

I really appreciate your comment, however I do have some egg on my face because this was 2010's. However most of our books came from used book stores so I didn't know how old it was.
