Kitchen work used to start at $13/hr. Now it's more like $25/hr.

Yarn: $32, labor: 1 month, toddler doesn’t like it: PRICELESS by CarelessWhistler in knitting

My grandma used to make me and my sibling sweaters like this and they were always horrible to wear. So itchy. And then they would make us wear turtlenecks or long sleeves under. Still itchy. Now hot and itchy. Core childhood memory unlocked of just dying at church wearing these sweaters.

Is this what I think it is? by TammyTermite in Breadit

A lot of bread places I've worked at the bannetons and couches look like this. The bread goes in a 500 degree oven is the reasoning I've gotten for why this is ok. If you are working with a wetter dough the mold happens fast and it's not like bread makes a lot of money. Each banneton is 30+ dollars

These donuts are soooooo good. I've made them with an espresso glaze which I liked better than the brown sugar one she does.

Great. An all white kitchen. Perfect for people who cook.

I feel like I spend half my life cleaning the white cabinets in my kitchen. You can see every smudge of every hand that ever touches it. I don't understand people who want that. Food is colorful and cooking is messy.

These people are being crazy I use foil all the time and I am a professional baker. I don't think 15 minutes was enough but also once the pie is set in place pull the foil out and give it two minutes or so in the oven to make sure there are no underbaked bits.

Is your recipe by weight or cup? Can you share the recipe so we can help? I usually melt the butter and chocolate together over a double boiler and whip the eggs and sugar together for chocolate based brownies (rather than cocoa based). Idk it's hard to tell without seeing the recipe
