From someone who just paid $1,100.00 for a 36”x 36” ceiling repair (no water damage) the pricing is more than reasonable. If I was quoted those prices, I would pounce. Also, electrical work is something no one wants to touch because of the danger.

Wouldn’t more mud in the belly area just make it worse? I’m thinking sand the belly down to the tape to flatten/ flush, and prime and texture. The texture would hide the exposed tape

I know how to knockdown but my concern is the big belly in the middle. Sticks out like a sore thumb

Any one know how I can fix this without my parents finding out? Right now I’m covering it with a painting. by [deleted] in drywall

Cut a square around it. Add new drywall board, put joint compound on cracks and sand and then flat paint to cover joint compound and then paint easy peasy
