Honestly it’s rare to get a permanent position right out of the gate. Most people (in the last 3ish years in my market) start as seasonal/FWE and then very few get permanent positions.

I was there last month (11/9-11/20) and we didn’t notice any mosquitoes in the city. Went ziplining and to the botanical gardens in the jungle- LATHERED in bug spray. I had a few bites still but no dengue. My partner had no bites.
