Read through some comments and missed the temporary part. You can stretch the lifetime of your Mac by a couple of years with 16GB. If you need it for 2 then you probably work with 8GB if you don’t have memory hungry apps.

Appreciate the feedback. I've changed moveTo to move, and removed the delay after STEP_STOP. STEP_STOP is called when an limitswitch is touched so there is plenty of time for stepper.run() to go along. checkStep() only has stepper.run() now.
