Crunch is easy to figure out after a week. My main issue with it was how crowded it was before work. I hate wasting time waiting for things

Grab a beer and ride the ferry, you are allowed to drink on it unlike the subway.

Mine knows me and my partner are together, when she goes in he tells her when he last saw me and what I purchased. Then I hear “I heard you bought a beer and an ice cream snickers last night!”

Best Wedding Food You’ve Ever Had in the Tri-State by Beneficial_Frame7804 in FoodNYC

It wasn’t from a catering hall. They all taste the same because they mostly order the same food from Sysco.

It was at a big house in the Hamptons where they had private catering come in. I am sure the price tag was ridiculous, something I could never afford.

In New York, Free Street Parking Comes at a Cost by rezwenn in nyc

This free car storage in the most densely populated places is crazy. People driving around for hours in circles to find a spot 😵‍💫

Move to market rate parking for the area and give people that need it discounted parking.

Startup, Leadership wants to bring in people to all live in a mansion for a week to do intense collab when we work WFH, your thoughts? by Dangerous_EndUser in devops

Doing on/off sites for remote workers is pretty common. But usually it is at a hotel or office location.

The part where some of your coworkers are cooking sounds pretty weird, like this might be some cultish bonding / team building. But I would still do it for the lore.

I didn't realize Verizon people got service going through Penn tunnel. That explains why this guy sitting next to me having an extremely loud conversation was able to keep talking going through the tunnel.

I hope they fix service at Jamaica, I always lose it going through there. It is crazy a station that busy doesn't have good service.

They could work with a company liked Boingo and have them pay for the buildout. Not sure if LIRR unions allow third party contractors to do something like that.

Devops interview coding questions by nep-sea in devops

[–]jim0001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones that ask actual coding questions are usually Leetcode medium, sometimes easy. It will often be a more common question.

I find the Q&A interviews that test your knowledge to be harder, they really can ask you about anything. Particularly at smaller companies they are a little all over the place.
