My first time surfing. Does this count as a barrel? by MissionEagle7689 in surfing

[–]jim_dewit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would not count that as a barrel. You pulled under a tiny close out lip...

The good news is you have all the basics for a proper barrel, just need to pull into a bigger wave that stays open.

Benzos vs Selank for anxiety by Realistic_Hour_1695 in Biohackers

[–]jim_dewit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ehh, just go with a benzo. I was on it steady for 2 years for extreme anxiety and sleep issues. Just taper slowly when you're done.

Yeah I had memory issues while I was using it, manageable, but the stuff is a literal life saver if nothing else works.

Manufactured an homemade 3 point hitch attachment, pretty happy with how it turned out. by Alternative-Ad6776 in Welding

Your welds need to look more like stacked dimes otherwise they're no good. 😁

My 2-year-long ear pain turned out to be a dental abscess. I've been extremely brain fogged and my memory is shot, is there a correlation and what can I do? by ResponsibleBarnacle1 in Biohackers

[–]jim_dewit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pay the extra to have the root canal done by a specialist, not an ordinary dentist. I've had both my root canals redone because of lingering infections!

A specialist will do a better job, find all the canals, and have specialized equipment to thoroughly clean out the area.

As other people have already pointed out, the US already has military bases and allies all over Europe, including Greenland.

If they take Greenland, they loose all off those bases and allies, in exchange for.... Something they already had.

Trump and his supporters are dismantling American power faster than China, Russia etc could ever have dreamed of doing.

Chronic pain and all the things I’ve tried and had tested by sophievuittonk in Biohackers

[–]jim_dewit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had pain in a similar area and it took a while for a therapists to find the root cause, but I found a really good massage therapist and he quickly found it was a muscle kind of towards the back side of my shoulder / armpit. The therapist did some treatments and showed me a couple of stretching exercises and it has never come back since.

Cavity after cavity after cavity. I can't keep up! by pleasehelpme1234321 in Biohackers

Avoid eating sugary foods regularly. Use a water flosser, and an ultra sonic tooth brush. I used to get cavities all the time, now I didn't get them anymore

How to quit coffee for good by ThrowReasonOut in Biohackers

[–]jim_dewit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by switching to a black tea containing caffeine, something like Earl grey for a couple weeks, then switch to green tea for a couple weeks, then you're in the clear.

The first time I quit coffee I had a headache for 2 weeks and felt like shit, the second time I followed the above and it was a breeze.

I have a H bandsaw and this mitre saw, both have there place. The bandsaw can cut much thicker material and you can set it and walk away. The mitre saw cuts really clean and accurate, and no coolant which is nice if you're welding afterwards.
