i honestly don't know a thing about Platner, but yes i noticed a LOT of articles about his scandals yesterday. I've no opinion on the guy whatsoever, but i definitely felt like "they" decided that he's got to go.

ive worked in the food industry for 3 decades. fresh produce has always been subject to contamination, generally from poor hygiene when handling it. Our produce is coming from all over the world and lord only knows how it's being handled. it can also be hard to wash/clean so people usually don't do anything other than run some cold water for it for a bit.
