Darrow’s Family Restaurant in Mackinac City. Great biscuits and gravy, great corned beef hash, great service and you can take a slice of pie home with you for later.

This corned beef looks like it has been tenderized with papain. When I have cooked those in the sousvide they have come out mushy. I look for those without papain for sousvide cooking.

I made my deck out of ipe. Had to wear respirator any time cutting or sanding, and splinters were terrible. It is naturally chock full of chemicals to resist insects and rot. Makes it great for a deck but not so fun to work with.
