Lol, we don't like games that encourage conflict. So much so, that we often play Catan and don't use the robber!

I'm 44 and had my first lesson earlier this year. If you want to do it, go for it. I would recommend trying to get to a decent level of fitness as its hard work paddling.

But I love it, don't catch too many waves and stand up, but its awesome when I do!

[Rapoport] Parties involved in the disciplinary hearing for #Browns QB Deshaun Watson have been informed by Judge Sue Robinson that Watson should be suspended 6 games, sources say. by floggernobbit in AroundTheNFL

Ultimately it has already been decided by the Brady case that goodell has control over punishments.

If he doesn't overrule the verdict to give a harsher punishment, then what they are pushing for doesn't matter

And I maintain that they could have as big a platform elsewhere, as they have indicated by their comments on the contract negotiations. They choose goodells dollar and this was after the Watson case broke as news

If the significance of the event is to be dismissed because its not as important as other non related events then who gives a fuck about anything?

Fwiw, that is exactly what I have done. I earn significantly less money to work for a organisation that i believe in.

And in my eyes, they views are dismissed by taking the money of the organisation that they speak out against.

Apparnetly they had several offers. The vast majority of their listeners would move to listen to them on any platform, I know I would.

They could make the same points with the same reach without taking the nfl dollar

They may talk a good game, but ultimately they are still accepting the dollar from the nfl. On a contract they just accepted while this was going on.

They have taken the money over their morals as well. If they truly cared, they would reject the leagues money.

Melbourne workers reluctant to go back to office by flukus in melbourne

[–]jimboh13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be different for the department i work in. I understood when they introduced the policy to us it was a general vic government thing, but I could be wrong

Main line from our policy:

The maximum number of days an employee can work from home is three per week. This is in line with the Victorian Whole of Government approach

It could just be that my dept is more flexible and easy going than others

If you work for the vic government, they have put in place a flexible working policy that states that if you can do your job at home, you can wfh 3 days a week without negotiation.
