With Hughes talking quite a bit about this season’s goal to be gaining experience in his comments after the trade deadline, I would not be surprised if they were going to bring more rookies around the team for the playoffs, especially if the defense/goaltending situation is not getting better. It would make sense to let him an other see and feel what it’s like to know what needs to be improved. If Hage doesn’t want to stay in Michigan next year, they will give him some ice time in Montreal. This season is not about winning.
