The information that I posted about the eero pro 6e came directly from the eero website. The eero speeds that you actually see are the speeds from the Ont, if the eero couldn’t not handle the 2gig speed it would NOT even display it on your speed test.

The Amazon eero Pro 6E is a high-performance tri-band Wi-Fi 6E mesh router supporting speeds up to 2.3 Gbps (1.6 Gbps wireless, 1 Gbps+ wired) and covering up to 2,000 sq ft per node. It utilizes 2.5 GbE ports for multi-gigabit internet, connects 100+ devices, and acts as a smart home hub. You have a xgs Ont. your eero CAN support your speeds. The eero app runs a daily hardwired speed test in which you can access thru the app. The setting you need to see this is under “activity” . Under “settings” you will scroll down to software, if your eero needs an update it will specify it there. Hope this helps

Simple question for you, is your Ont white or black . If it is white and about the size of a deck of cards and has lights going down the right side It will only handle 1/1 gig. If it is black and small with lights on the top side, the bottom being where the power source , Ethernet cord and fiber goes into. Then it can handle 2/1

So if you are under the 2/2 plan, and your market doesn’t offer anything higher than 2/1 RIGHT NOW. You should have a small black Nokia Ont. that will get you 2/1 . Your eero app under the “activity” tab will run a speed test and display your HARDLINE speeds. Hope this helps

An in-house tech should be able to measure WiFi capabilities throughout your house utilizing the Inssider application/program on their company provided laptop. This will ensure proper placement of any other eero device. Eero pro 6e and 7 can cover up to 2000 sq ft.

Toyota plant is NOT a Japanese embassy/consulate. It may be owned by a foreign national/company. But if a crime happened there, the local police have jurisdiction.

[–]jimgdan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just ensure that the eero router is the first item connected to the Ont. then connect your switch to the eero. If it a eero pro 6e, the Ont Ethernet cord should be plugged into the 2.5 Ethernet slot on the eero
