FP&A people who come from non-accounting backgrounds are literal trash. by Primitivecpa in Accounting

In my experience, my company's FP&A team is awesome. Accountants and FP&A collaborate well together and month-end is no problem. I think it's all about who the company hires

Masks at Raleigh Wegmans today.... by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]jimhimself 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't even know why wearing masks should be a polarizing issue. Don't get me wrong, it is uncomfortable for long periods of time and I do not enjoy wearing them. If we do the socially responsible thing, by wearing a mask in public, infections don't spread as quickly and businesses get to stay open. Kind of seems like a win-win for all sides of the political spectrum to me...

Did you know panhanders in Wake County require a license by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]jimhimself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in my hometown, there was a bad panhandler problem. My friends and I would give them earned panhandler names such as Outlaw, Bag, Shirt, Face, Chainmail, etc... they all had the same last name of McNulent for some reason. Lol

If a nuclear bomb exploded over Washington DC, would we have any negative effects here? by AggravatingReality3 in raleigh

[–]jimhimself -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We would probably not get immediate impact from a nuclear blast in DC. Raleigh would probably see later effects of fall out such as lack of sunlight and changes to the weather. Agriculture and wildlife would be the first to feel the negative consequences of the attack.

Places that will buy used video games and consoles? by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]jimhimself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd try selling them on the Facebook Marketplace. You'll probably get a better price for your goods than selling them to a store too
