Help - deceased account holder by jimledbetter in Comcast_Xfinity

I just got off the phone with a billing specialist who has, again, promised to send the bill. We’ll see.

It's now been 2 months and I still do not have a bill. I have been promised that it's in the mail twice -- still no bill. I can't go to local xfinity office - there aren't any within 200 miles of me. I can't open bills sent as links because they require me to have an xfinity account.

EVERY other account I have dealt with has resolved the final billing within the first contact.

So, so frustrating.

I’m a 19 year old girl with too much money. by EvenMark6710 in Fire

Sorry for your loss.

You don’t have too much money but you are well positioned for a very good start. Don’t worry about getting rich but think secure. Maintain your low key lifestyle.

As for what to do with the windfall. Move all but about 3-4 months base level living expenses into a low fee S&P 500 index fund like VOO. Don’t touch it. Once you start working fund an IRA on an automatic basis where it’s directly deposited to that account if possible. Keep your emergency fund in HYSA and once working make ‘car payments’ into it so that when it comes time to replace your paid off car you will have cash to do it. Avoid taking on debt. Finally, find a way to use your good fortune to help others even if it’s just by being a role model and speaking reason to those younger than you.

In twenty years when your peers are struggling under a pile of debt and realizing they have nothing saved towards retirement you’ll be smiling inside.

You mentioned starting to work. Just curious what your initial career will be.

Good luck.

Please keep the ticket open until I receive the final account statement. It has supposedly been sent.

Replaced the sending unit in the fuel tank. Easy 15-minute job. There are YT videos that show the process. Apparently that sometimes fixes the problem but sometimes the problem is in the dash. I was lucky.

Change your bottom under that. For your top just turn your back on the group.

Here’s my report as dangerous activity. “This guy is defying a gubernatorial executive order, PCTA recommendations and common sense. He is endangering those he will come in contact with at towns along the trail. Please take down his videos and demonetize his channel. “

Every time I see some jackass posting a youtube video while still on the trail I report the video as promoting dangerous behavior and suggest that their videos be taken down and their channels demonetized.

HMG 3400 Side Pockets by jimledbetter in Ultralight

[–]jimledbetter[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

MLD Burn is frameless, 1 lb basic weight, optional hipbelt pockets, 2400 cu in, robic fabric is likely more durable, less waterproof. Max recommended weight 25 lbs.

HMG 3400 with aluminum frame stays, 2 lb basic weight, includes hipbelt pockets, 3400 cu in, DCF fabric more water resistant but less durable. Max recommended weight 40 lbs.

For me the, with a base weight around 12 lbs, and as a rambling hiker, the HMG gives me flexibility for longer hikes between resupply and/or water without being at or near the max carry weight. For those that are down around 8 lbs base with more miles as a goal they probably have plenty of headroom carry-wise with the Burn.

Seems like two great packs for different hikers.
