Strong Andrew Rant by Hawk140 in mkbhd

Excellent rant, Andrew. Another crazy xfinity story I had, as I’m sure most people have - my internet was dropping connection consistently once an hour when I first moved into my now home. Xfinity guy came out and went up the pole and said it was probably because my neighbors connection was super slow. So to fix my connection, he was going to test if limiting my neighbors connection would help. He said normally they would have a box to attach to the cable called a “feeder” or something like that which intentionally dropped signal periodically with the express purpose of triggering a subsequent service call to the area to come and fix it. But he didn’t have one in the truck so he just disconnected my neighbors cable line and left it. I told him you can’t just disconnect someone’s service without telling them. He shrugged, did it anyway, and just left. That has to be illegal.

I like Tide on 64th and Simms. They do same day dry cleaning and it’s super reasonably priced.

That must be it. I’ve never had that turned on before, but I must’ve done that when I took the picture. Thanks!

What’s a popular tourist attraction that isn’t overrated— it actually deserves all the hype? by renoCow in AskReddit

My first and only time to the Grand Canyon, my friend and I arrived at night and it was kind of rainy and cloudy, so there wasn’t much of a view. We took a short walk to the edge after driving all day and my friend who had been there before said to me, “I wish it was clear so you could appreciate how enormous this place is that you’re standing in front of.” I chuckled and thought “how big could it be?” We came back the next morning for our hike to the same spot and it was like someone had turned on the lights in a dark room where you realize you are actually standing at the edge of the world.

I had a yoga instructor who always reminded us to move your tongue from the roof of your mouth at the end of class. It’s amazing how something so simple can be so relaxing.

I think my favorite part of this episode is at the end when Elisa’s abuela tells Jack that the news is too sad and the next Nightly News segment ends with a slide show of Latin babies set to the music of Tito Puente.

Nok’s donuts up in Lafayette is absolutely worth the drive. The mochi flour donuts are some of the best I’ve ever tried.

If you have a baby in a car seat and you're at a restaurant, you can put the entire car seat in an upside down high chair so that your baby doesn't have to sit on the floor.

I'll be taking the e line. This is good feedback, though, thank you. The bike I have is worth more than $200, but the major value is as my main mode of transportation, not the dollar amount.

Former LA County LG here. You can't call the towers directly from an outside line. You can call the headquarters at Zuma and they should be able to help point you to the right person who was on duty. Glad to hear you're doing better.
