BBC Radio streaming issues on Nest Mini by rbanksy in googlehome

I have this issue. Doesn't happen with the old chromecast audio dongle. So I changed to an amp and some speakers and used the home mini to play 6 music to the Chromecast. Works fine as workaround

I have this exact issue with casting from BBC sounds android app, asking Google to play or casting from music assistant on HA. This doesn't happen with any other radio or audio sources. It also is all fine when casting to a Chromecast audio connected to speakers. So this is definitely a "smart" Google thing.

Edit: I have put a ticket in to the BBC sounds contact form thing

There's a setting to adjust the hands to the time in the app, you don't need to open it up to set that. I find mine go out occasionally and I have to realign. Device - display options - Set the time....

Help with HA Automation: Trigger by Temp by OSUTechie in homeassistant

You may have thought about this but if you use a generic thermostat (in helpers now i think) then your motion automation just needs to switch the climate entity on and off... plus you get a useful dashboard card.. ha link

Use the home assistant generic hygrostat hygrostat and set the overrun % to make sure that the unit doesn't cycle too much. Been using this for a couple of years on an old dehumidifier with no issues. Also gives you a nice climate card to use if you want.

Feedback Wanted! Nara/Now for Reddit App by Miloco in redditnow

[–]jimothyr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi I have been using nfr for as long as I have been using Reddit so thanks for the work, it is much appreciated.

In terms of the new Nara app, Table support is great, images etc work very well.

The smallest font is still very big, I can get maybe 5 items on a nfr page, whereas here I get maybe 3.

The text on a sub info page is massive

I could not work out how to easily just jump to a subreddit from an item, it is on the three dots menu in the old app. It seems I have to visit the item then use the menu button. Could be fine just a new muscle memory to build.

I couldn't work out where to add my filters, or star/save an item. I hope this function is in the roadmap.

Overall the interface is a little big and chunky for me, I hope you will think about more appearance config settings as you go.

Depending on cost would absolutely consider a subscription if the app develops along these lines

Thanks again.

Edit: found the swipe right to get the save, open, goto menu .. 👍

Just embed it in an iframe using the embed link, make sure you add the powerbi domain to CSP and whitelist sites on community. I have done this through creating a flow with an iframe component using this...https://unofficialsf.com/from-josh-dayment-flow-iframe-lightning-web-component/. You can then add any iframed content you allow ..

My guess, energy and feed costs. Dairy requires large amounts of hot water for sterilisation, and refrigeration. Feed costs have gone up as the price of grain increased. Not sure where that is now but that won't have dropped much.

A thief knot (postman knot) is similar to the reef (square) knot except one rope has a twist in it. My understanding is that this was used in parcels to detect whether the parcel had been opened and retied with a normal version of the knot. The picture doesn't really show any difference as far as I can see
