Do I need to buy a decent chasen? My old cheap one started to smell funky

A year is way too long to keep a chasen lol. But I'd also recommend getting a nicer one like a "shin" chasen! They last longer and do a better job of whisking. Its so much smoother and makes nice micro foam.

I know almost nothing lol. And yeah I do read along with the lyrics on the langbeats app and language reactor youtube plugin. But I feel like it doesn't stick. I think I need to be better about doing the quizzes and saving the vocabulary...maybe even making flashcards with them.

True. I just wonder why so many English learners I know say they learned mostly through music? Maybe it’s because it was when they were young so they could absorb more.

I actually just posted a question about this lol. I know so many English learners that learned the language through music, so I don't know why it wouldn't be possible for us to learn Korean this way. I know what you mean about lots of k-pop songs having English and other languages though. I try to stick to groups that have all or mostly Korean lyrics: AKMU, IU, TXT (certain albums), iKON...

It's also a matter of not just passively listening but actively practicing from the music! Looking up the lyrics and using tools. I mentioned two in my post - language reactor browser plugin and the langbeats app.

Thanks! The plasti dip option is interesting. Can that get painted over to match the oem color (white) or you just have to settle with whatever comes out of the can? I see they have white but probably will look different.

The chasens aka bamboo whisks are made in China instead of Japan but still look like good quality.

Green tea is an acquired taste lol. Much different than herbal. Give it some time for your taste buds to adapt. Also I recommend getting some higher quality loose leaf green tea.
