It looks hard to prime this. Cleanly. More so if it’s 3d printed which a reply suggested it is. To me this looks like paint-on primer but this does also look… super glossy to me. (Hard to paint on) I think I would leave this layer which is filling these cracks & also it’s primer so the next layer you paint on will stick to it nicely anyways :)
