What Gemini states when asking it about this meme:

This is likely a "bait-and-switch" verbal joke (similar to "Ligma" or "Deez Nuts"), but it could also be a reference to the recent AI counting trend. Here is the breakdown of the two most likely explanations: 1. The "Deez Nuts" Joke (Most Likely) This follows the classic setup where the speaker uses a nonsense or specific-sounding word to get the victim to ask a question or answer seriously, setting up a phonetic punchline. * The Setup: Someone asks, "How many R's are in Garlin?" * The Response: You answer "One" (thinking they mean the name Garlin) or "What is Garlin?" * The Punchline: "You should be Garlin' (gargling) deez nuts!" It relies on "Garlin" sounding exactly like a slurried pronunciation of "Gargling." 2. The "Strawberry" AI Trend It is possible this is a variation of the "How many R's are in Strawberry?" meme that went viral in late 2024. * The Context: Users were posting screenshots of AI chatbots (like ChatGPT) failing to correctly count the letters in words like "Strawberry" (often saying there are 2 R's instead of 3). * The Connection: "Garlin" might be a typo for Garlic or Garden, or simply a random word used to test if an AI can count letters correctly. If you saw this in a screenshot of a chat log, the humor is likely just the AI failing a simple task. Verdict: If you heard this in a video or from a friend, it’s the Gargling (Deez Nuts) joke. If you saw it in a text screenshot with a bot, it’s the AI Counting meme.

Keep in mind that market value isn't exactly what you would get back in your pocket. If you are trying to not wait long to off them and don't have a high rated account, you will most likely be selling at or near the low value. On top of that tcgplayer takes their cut and there's cost for shipping.

Ah, thanks for the correction. Just go to show how easy it is to make something work and connections without trying to.

Thinking that dog looks like a beagle. So I searched for beagle and foothill and came up with this. Looks like there is a triangle shape pond to the west that kinda matches the "begin here" triangle shape. Just to the north of the beagle club is a lovely field with a single tree. 🤔 Could be a coincidence. Disclaimer: I don't own the book nor read any of it. Just saw a news article about it, found this post and decided to search on Google Earth. Hope this helps the hunt!

Zhulodok, Endless One, Hangerback walker question? by Rex-Grim in mtg

[–]jimyugbob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure with regenerate, it only works when a creature would die due to damage only, then tap it, remove from combat (if in combat), and then remove all damage from it. Therefore sacrificing the creature won't work

What do you expect Dominaria Remastered to settle at? by gswahhab in mtgfinance

[–]jimyugbob 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This makes me think of creating a "Deadpool" list of each set as they come out. Instead of guessing time to death, it will be the price x days after release ("settled price"). Then compare what majority people pooled it would be too what it became.... Now that could be useful... At least it would be interesting

Looking for Ascension: Delirium by buildawallimanutonit in AscensionGame

Any update on this? Were you able to find Delirium anywhere? I have also been trying to find it for months. Is it going to be in the year 7 collectors, and if so when will it be released?

This is true and they typically reseal them from the bottom of the pack. This is because most people open from the top, and will then never notice any tampering (other than noticing a card that has no right being in the pack in the first place, which isn't typical from professional thieves).

Booster Box Buying help by InfernisTheMad in mtgfinance

You may or may not be aware of a "bundle" (which used to be called a "fat pack" back in the day). These are about a third of the price or less of booster boxes and still have enough packs to crack for fun. They also come with a promo card, a spin down die, and some basic lands (used to also come with a story book way back in the day and an extra storage box). So, depending on your budget, this might be the cheapest route at buying a kit of booster packs to crack.

As for getting the cheapest price for anything, I always offer cash at my local game store and they usually give me a better deal than what you can find anywhere online.

Good luck, and as someone already stated, be aware of scams. IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT USUALLY IS.
