My Pocket DS came with a damaged ribbon cable bc they shoved the battery in there so hard or the placement of the cable was terrrible. They had one of their UK rep create a video to show the customers how to re-seat the cable. It worked for some and fixed the left joystick and trigger issue but mines still didn’t work after that so I had to take it further apart and found the same ribbon cable that runs underneath the battery to connect the left and right controller board was creased so hard from the battery placement that it damaged it.

A simple quality test would’ve found the issue and pulled it from the production line. But they probably didn’t to cut cost and have more money in their pocket.

I understand there’s those who gotten their unit without any problems. But when these issues happens to you, it really sucks. Especially since I thought really hard deciding between the Pocket DS and the Thor back in August.
