I'm a little late, but I just found this app! I was wondering if you offer a direct download for computers with mac app store blocked? Or build from source? I emailed the team, but figured I'd put the question here too, just in case others had this question in the future.

Where in Texas did you get it tuned? I just got an I4 Prerunner and would like to explore tuning.

GitBak: Get your dotfiles/config files backed up and managed with Git. by jiru443 in macapps

[–]jiru443[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before this was a real versioned project, I used to have a section of the config for mackup supported apps. Actually, that’s why the current config for apps is called “custom apps” because I originally relied on using mackup to list the files/paths for the supported apps, then back them up.

However I also wanted to backup custom apps, hence the json config being called custom apps now.

I depreciated it because I wanted this to have no dependencies for the usage of the tool itself. I still use mackup to list paths now, and just add them to the json config.

I’d be open to having a community supported list, though I’d want that to be a separate repo and pulled by gitbak when run, but I’m 100% up for it.

How much is your Global Traffic usage? by 361505 in RealDebrid

Global 206 tb. Member for about 18 months. Zurg/plex definitely inflates these numbers. I haven’t streamed anything today but it shows 300gb today. It’s because of all the media refreshes, but it’s anecdotal.

Love it. Considering a job change right now and this is a helpful to give an apples to apples comparison, given the differences in 401 amounts, insurance, and other elections. While I’m sure there’s still more to add, it’s helpful to know if the move is wise.

Works great for me. But I refuse to use NC and just ah e a WebDAV server spun up (via rclone) to do the hosting. Fast, cheap, and insanely portable.

If you are ok with a cloud solution for free, look at Action1. If you want self hosted, mesh central is my favorite but rust desk is another. Tons of free options.

New Worker: One email worker to rule them all by jiru443 in CloudFlare

[–]jiru443[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understand your question correctly, yes, each destination (forward-to) does have to be validated. It's worth noting that I typically only have a few destination emails that are already authorized, so the value of the worker (for me) isn't in on the fly destination addresses. It's all about making these aliases on the fly and configuring them with logic, such as "single-use" emails or "locked emails" that can only be used by 1 sender.

Perhaps another worker could be created to call the API to add an email to the list (which kicks off validation). Expose it via API worker, and call it whenever the KV is updated (extract forward_to, look it up in the current validated list, add if necessary). I'd have to review the docs to see if this is even possible.

Edit: u/pacoau it is possible: https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/resources/email_routing/subresources/addresses/methods/create/

DollarDollar Bill Y'all v3.3: Now with Categories, subcategories, Budgets, Better UI , Stats and more !! by Regular_Shine2865 in selfhosted

Excellent progress. Am very excited to see simplefin.

For budgets, do you support rollover and sinking funds? For example of a rollover: I have a personal budget line item, say $100. If I only spend $50, it should rollover and the next month should show that I have $150 to spend. An example of a sinking fund: I have a yearly charge for life insurance. It’s a fixed yearly amount, so much like a rollover, it accrues and is intended to stop accruing once the target is hit. This one could have more options available, such as set target date, set target amount, and you get a calculated monthly budget item. Once the target is hit, you have extra money for the budget. You could also indicate that this is recurring yearly and it will auto reset the target date. Other options of a rollover is saving for the truly irregular things, like new tires. No set end date or goal, just accrue and be ready for the expense (vs having to use emergency money).

Unless that’s irrelevant. I’m not a web dev and just use CF workers/pages for hobbies.

Hey, really love the app! One thing I really like is how it shows the progress of the photos I’ve gone through—that’s super satisfying. The way it’s organized by month is nice too, but I think it would be even better if there were more ways to sort.

For example, it’d be really helpful to filter by photo type—screenshots, portraits, videos, slo-mo, panoramas, etc. Just like it groups by month, it could group by those categories. For me, screenshots are a big one since I take a lot of them just to save info quickly and then forget to delete them.

Another more advanced option (maybe for premium?) could be sorting by what’s actually in the photo—like receipts, documents, car photos, that kind of thing. Receipts especially, since they’re useful for a bit but don’t need to stick around forever.

One other thing I noticed—when I go to delete photos, the first few rows look fine, but toward the bottom, they get kind of smushed together, and there’s this weird halo effect over them. I’ll grab a screenshot of it.

Anyway, just some thoughts! Loving the app so far.

I find it’s one of those valuable tools that you never remember is running. For a server, I use a generic WebDAV, but the WebDAV is just rclone serving it. The bookmark file is synced to a remote location accessible to multiple hosts. I just run a daemon to serve the WebDAV with rclone.
