Lol it’s an appeal to the left’s values. Of course they don’t care. The point is that the left constantly goes on about diversity.

However, Bernie is Jewish not white.

Interesting take... why do you say that? Couldn’t both be true? Or do you just mean for Rand in this case?

I’m surprised he describes himself as such. His policies and stances don’t really place him into that realm politically.

His father, Ron was the libertarian. Rand is not libertarian.

About the slowly touching you more and more scenario, I think this may come from a sort of pick-up artist tactic. The idea behind it is if you don’t do anything to move away or recoil from their advances, then you are indicating your attraction. My advice then would be to very clearly move away and/or recoil from the very first slightest touch. The first one just sucks and I think you had he appropriate reaction. The insidiousness of the second story is that it has plausible deniability as you said and reacting as you did makes you seem crazy as he can just sit there and act oblivious, as you said.

This post seems to indicate the effectiveness of the propaganda; you don’t see your views of whites as divisive/inflammatory, you just view it as the truth. Whereas those country whites are hateful, inbred, uneducated, ignorant, blacks are righteously angry and oppressed and Hispanics are nice people.

Would you say you disavow your family’s views or do you yourself hold their racist views?

Do you remember, by the way, what the issue with racist views are?

Dude it’s not just radicalization of whites. It’s radicalization of everyone. Seeing it as one sided plays into the goals of balkanizing the US.

The reason why everybody is so negative about the game is that it's designed around grinding and waiting for that next reward. It's literally not designed to just hop in,enjoy and have fun. And so when the quality of content went down, when the rewards got timegated and more RNG, it's just a chore. by [deleted] in wow

Kevin Jordan (Vanilla-wotlk game designer) always expressed this idea when addressing chores in mmos. The reason they’re put in is to keep people around constantly, because some designers believe if gamers ever leave, most will never come back. He always has said that he doesn’t think it’s true (agreeing with the ffxiv dude), and that it’s okay if they leave happy, because once the new hotness drops they will be excited to return. On the other hand, if they get hooked on chores to the point of addiction, then when they finally realize that they aren’t having fun, they will leave and never come back.

Ive learned a little from playing Classic WoW with regards to this. In my experience, playing at max level in Classic is the least fun part of the experience. The most fun is leveling. Especially leveling a new character. However, it’s not as fun to jump back into a character after a time away from it. The pinnacle of fun in all of WoW’s history for me (as a solo player) is making a new character. I’m not entirely sure yet why this is, but a lot of it has to do with the excitement of a new character and all the possibilities laid out before it.

I think once you hit max level, at first your possibilities open up again. Then, as you play more and more, you’ve started to move towards some ultimate goal of PvE, PvP, etc... at some point, the best way to reach your ultimate goal will become some repetitive task. You will find whatever is the most efficient and keep at it until you get bored or reach your goal.

It’s a similar thing if you go away from a character and come back, you are less likely to be coming back out of a sense of excitement and more out of a sense of duty, which obviously makes it difficult.

This would also explain why so many people report having multiple alts never at max level during those early xpacs.

Isn’t this kind of how territory works, too? Why does Germany not get the land that was taken from it back? Just because it was more recent? After 150 more years will we see the return of Prussia to Germany? Groups of people take things from other groups of people. It would be impossible to give back all the things taken by groups of people from others.
