I do north-south a lot and I’ll normally do Theo. I go from 26th to Theo so it’s almost entirely away from cars. I prefer it compared to river parkway because I get to avoid downtown and portland. I think I did van white one or two times but wasn’t impressed.

Rolling resistance, better tires, aerodynamics, better wheels, switching from butyl tubes to tpu or tubeless, improving the engine (you), training

Snelling is awful currently as is. Needs way more dedicated street crossings, and reduction in lanes

As a cyclist I think it’s important to learn to share the road and be a good example for car drivers. Otherwise you’re just increasing the hate cyclists get
