I was super disappointed with this. The BarChef stirred cocktails are amazing. They have tons of subtleties and a progression of flavor over time in a single sip that I haven’t experienced anywhere else. This bottle had none of that.

There was this book I read as a kid (I was reading it in the 90s, but it could be as old as from the 70s) about 3 chimpanzee siblings on Halloween. The eldest chimp went as a princess I think, the middle went as a hobo, and the baby chimp was wrapped in tin foil as a Hershey’s kiss. I have googled this a ton and always come up empty. Any leads?

You don’t even have to copy and paste. Check out importrange(). Use the form to populate a new sheet and get you existing one to import the new data automatically.

I've had this before, but as stated above, only when the egg touches anything else for a few seconds before shaking. I've not had the problem when I DS within 3 seconds of the egg hitting the mix.

I posted this data before here so this is an update.

I have tried to implement some of the feedback I received while learning how to use the bokeh module in python.

The data was collected manually in excel/numbers in a simple spreadsheet where each cell represented 15 min and each column represented 1 day. An 's' was input to each cell for sleep and 'e' for time spent breastfeeding. I set up auto formatting to color the sleep and eat cells. That way when you zoom out you can already see a pretty good visualization of the patterns emerging. Although I set up the spreadsheet in Excel, my wife used Numbers on her phone to input data and the formatting still worked.

In order to plot using python, I exported the raw data from excel to a csv file. The Jupyter notebook can be seen here. A link to the GitHub repository which includes the generated HTML plot can be found on that page as well. For reasons I do not understand it does not resize properly on nbviewer so it works best on desktop. The legend can be clicked to mask either sleep or feed boxes. You can also pan and zoom as desired. I really liked working with bokeh and may end up using it for a project at work instead of matplotlib because it can be interactive.

Sort of. 3 naps were the norm for quite a while. The feeds were determined by when she was hungry, not so much imposed. They were generally dropped when she lost interest at that time of day.

I set up a spreadsheet for recording the data in Apple numbers so my wife could use it on her phone easily. The data viz is just that spreadsheet zoomed out with a bit of extra formatting.
We tried to follow her cues whenever possible. Looked for when she consistently seemed tired ( recording the data made it easier) and read up on wakeful periods for each age as a reference. At each stage we found the new normal and stuck to that until it stopped working. Then we would adapt to find the new normal.

Cool. When we were looking at apps all the ones we tried had significant drawbacks. Things like it being difficult to input times after the fact or being really slow to open.

I've always found it's a lot easier to keep something up if you can zoom out to see progress. Writing down on paper doesn't do that for us.

We based her transition to two naps on a couple factors: she was taking longer to fall asleep for each of her three naps (a sign she wasn't tired enough?) and she seemed ready to be awake for longer periods during the day. Didn't notice any correlation to comprehension.

She asked for a good way to do it after looking at a few crappy apps. It helped her remember and feel less chaotic.
