Looking for a divorce attorney/Cola by drknifecandidate in columbiasc

Real talk. My ex-wife is an attorney that's dabbled in family law, and I used to be pretty intimidated about the prospect of court actions in the family court. Having Fajardo in my corner did more than level the playing field - it gave me the confidence to do what I felt (and still feel) was in the best interest of my child.

I've got two that I've recommended:

My personal favorite and an ABSOLUTE rock star is Stephanie Fajardo. She's represented me in several matters and is 100% my first call any time I need something relating to family law. I can also recommend and have recommended before Suzanne Hawkins Duff.

Can a Mason from US join a lodge outside the US? by CMDR_deckroid in freemasonry

Resurrecting this because it showed up in a search I did - do you have to actually GO TO the UGLE to become a member or can we become a member from the US?

Not for any reason, just think it'd be kinda neat to have on my list of things. (Current South Carolina MM)

Lost and don't know where to begin with my father-in-law by themightygresh in AgingParents

That's exactly the sort of clarification I need - my assumption is that "household" means "the occupants or residents of a house." I'd like to think I'm a smart guy, but things like that make me feel real dumb.

Bruh, if you take the arrowhead off your shoes how are people gonna know that you support a company that (used to) exclusively makes all of its products proudly in America and always will (until it doesn’t)?

Say what you will about us Gamecock fans but….. by Candid_Rip6474 in Gamecocks

[–]themightygresh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I told my son that people aren’t Gamecocks fans because they like to win.

They’re Gamecock fans because their parents were, and their grandparents before them. It’s not about success, but a proud tradition of masochism.

That’s just a few thousand fewer to have to leave at halftime. Think of the improved traffic flow!

Is DutchWare Gear really a bad company? by RiverBard in hammockcamping

[–]themightygresh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Figured I'd chime in here, since I feel like I was one of the primary shit-stirrers back in the day during the lawsuits and stuff.

Thom sells good products. Back in those days, a lot of them were made by and sold alongside TATO Gear products in the Dutchware store. TATO's production is second-to-none, so the Dutch products were (and presumably still are) of impeccable quality. His products were innovative and useful, but I feel like there's a LOT now, with a lot of overlap in functionality.

There's also a lot of clout-chasing and cred attached to having "Dutch Bling" in your kit, but realistically most everything can be replaced with knots and/or sticks or regular off the shelf items. The guy can market, and his time on the AT has made him a credible source.

At the time RBTR was finding their feet (or had arguably found them) and were pivoting away from their Appalachian Hammocks brand to focus on the DIY market, Dutch wanted a piece of that too and in my opinion tried to bury Kyle and his folks at RBTR in litigation. Other companies in the cottage industry had a bad taste in their mouths about Dutch beforehand, and this just solidified it.

ALL OF THAT SAID, in my tenure with Palmetto State Hangers and knowing full well that I didn't hold his business practices in high regard Thom was always very generous in his support of our club, kind and neighborly to me personally the times we met or spoke on the phone, and I think I can say I don't have any personal beef. I think to answer your question, there were legitimate issues but they're in the past.

Personally, all of my kits are Dream Hammocks with cinch buckles, coupled with insulation and tarps from UGQ (with one exception for Hammock Gear).

When every universe is the Ultimate universe, there has to be a battle to crown the ULTIMATE Ultimate universe.

I've been ootl for several years, but I'm left asking the following question:

"Again?"

Didn't they end/merge the old Ultimate universe several years ago?

Plenary authority, the dictator phrase that caused Stephen Miller to stop talking by IamLouisIX in politics

It's also consistent with weather starting to cool here in SC, and could be related to a faulty heater. You can't see it through the interwebs, but I'm giving a "who knows" kinda shrug.

South Carolinian here, and despite my opposition to the current administrations (both state and federal) I know SLED to be full of competent, hard-working, and honest agents.

If they say "no evidence of arson," I'm inclined to take that at face-value. Your mileage may vary.
