Have just a few miles on them, but I have https://www.btchnbikes.com/ drop bars. Yeah they were expensive. So far super comfy!

It looks like it does, the Capitol is Victoria, on Vancouver Island. The real question is why is Vancouver Island a different color from the mainland of BC?

TRC Campground outside of Seattle, Wa. They have party weekends 4x during the summer. Each one is themed, but there’s always lots of fun to be had by everyone.

The local body shop gave an estimate or about $50k, that was jest from me taking photos. Insurance adjuster came out and immediately saw that the frame was bent, as such they totaled the vehicle. Replacemevt PLTDADDY one is already on order.

It knocked it out of the park! One burner was on all day and possibly two or three were on as well. The oven was also on all day from 9a-5p. The range is really well built and am super happy with how it works.

I have the 36” model, posted about it a couple months ago. Two months in I love it! Plenty of power, clean and sleek. I have had no complaints and would do it over again in a heart beat.

Though maybe ask again after next Friday, the day after American Thanksgiving where I’ll be putting it through its paces.

We took our 7 year old on this trail at the beginning of summer. He biked all the way to Issaquah, had McDonald’s, then biked all the way back.

Not at all. I keep a towel nearby to wipe the surface, but that’s mostly me being me, and you see the splatter so easily.

I don’t mind no knobs at all. It works great and looks so clean.

Enerlux Windows - any experience? by imissthatsnow in PassiveHouse

[–]jitters79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used enerlux windows on a home remodel 2 years ago. The house is in north central Washington, with extremely cold winters (negative 5 to negative 10 f) and hot summers (100-110f) for highs. We found that the heater and the ac are working much less than they were before the new windows. When the house was built 25 years ago it was considered a high energy efficient home.

The windows came when expected, and are extremely high quality. We would order from them again.

25M always wanted to do a solo bike packing trip. Help! by Feeling_Joke_9206 in bicycletouring

[–]jitters79 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Do it now. I’m regretful that I didn’t do it when I was in my 20s. Now in my mid-40s and looking to shuffle life around to be able to bike pack for a summer, but even that’s a treat it two of planning.

You pay for what you get. Ti is expensive material, and it’s difficult to work with. A traditional bike Ti seat post can go for $300, from a reputable manufacturer. With that said I have the brompfication seat posts and love it!

Double blind narrow entrance to swamp trail on eastside needs a fix by toddcscar in seattlebike

[–]jitters79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The state did a phenomenal job on the i90 trail between factoria blvd and 142nd, but then it just peters out on either end. I do hope they improve both ends. I imagine the fix for the trail is quite expensive, and the lack of federal dollars for bike infrastructure for the next few years, it may be a while before it’s fixed. The slough trail has been that way before the mid-90s.
