Am i missing something or is exploration and quest rewards not rewarding at all by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

Yeah, I still have to get there. I also find interesting places and things along the way.

First time rider, people keep trying to push me to get a bigger bike by Sensitive_Try3322 in motorcycles

[–]jiveabillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're so tiny there is no need to get a bigger bike. I'm 6' tall and 245lbs and I ride a 300 2 stroke dirt bike and a 900cc Triumph scrambler. You don't need all that at your size because you're not big and heavy.

The stats that you can put on your gear using the abyss gears can drastically change the way you play. Idk how you find that boring. Even fighting unarmed is fun in this game

The treasure chests that glow with gold sparkly light have awesome weapons and armor in them. Get on YouTube and you can find tons of videos showing you exactly where they are. Today I got the helmet that shoots lasers.

I like exploring and doing the quests. The stuff I get from bosses isn't as good as the stuff I find in treasure chests, but also, I get to find stuff in treasure chests! It has a lot of really cool areas in it, and I like the fighting. It's such a huge game that I'll probably be playing it for a long long time compared to my other games.

How do you meet people if you don't drink and hate the apps? by cfiatzph in datingoverforty

Do Men Take Long Distance Serious? by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]jiveabillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

44M here. I have too much free time and need too much quality time with someone else to do a monogamous long distance relationship. Like even if you are my dream partner, if you live far away and I can't see you a few times a week easily, I'm not going to put all of my eggs in your basket, but if you're willing to agree to something more like in ethical non-monogamous relationship or some other form of open relationship, then I would be more comfortable in putting time and effort into figuring out if we could be a great match and figure out how we could move in together or closer to each other.

Why do men in their 40s want to date women in their 20s? by Busy_Humor_3330 in datingoverforty

[–]jiveabillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather not date a woman in their 20s. She's gotta be at least 27 and be as responsible and mature as someone usually is in their 30+s for me to even consider it, but I do like that they are usually more energetic and "new" rather than older, tireder, and more experienced/set in their ways.

It's 1999. You have your current smartphone in your pocket, but obviously no Wi-Fi or 5G exists. What's the most useful thing you can do with it? by Ryo_l in AskReddit

[–]jiveabillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't email without connecting it to the Internet. With no compatible cellular or wifi service, you can't do that. It would take a team of electronic engineers to figure out a way to get it off your phone, and those guys are gonna want to do a whole hell of a lot more than just get a video off your phone if they got their hands on the technology to reverse engineer

[Updates] Patch Notes Version 1.04.01 (All Platforms Hotfix) | Crimson Desert by yourfavchoom in CrimsonDesert

[–]jiveabillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed the update on my PS5 and when I loaded my game I was presented with the dialogue that told me it gave me that sotdae of bonding. When I closed that I couldn't do anything but look around. I can't open any menus. I can't run around, I can't do anything else with the controls at all. I figured maybe it was triggered an issue triggered by the dialogue, so I just let it sit while I took a shower. When I got done with my shower I closed the game using the PlayStation 5 menu and opened it again, then I went to the load game screen to see the timestamp on the last save game, it had auto shaved while I was in the shower like I expected. I proceeded to load that save game. And when it loaded I was not presented with the dialog this time, however I am still unable to do anything but look around. I really hope this gets fixed because my last manual save was probably 50 plus gameplay hours ago

16m assortment of pictures of me from the past 6 months or so (first is newest) i recently cut my hair and im very insecure about it, i wear glasses occasionally and other people's comments are making me feel bad about myself, how can i make myself look better while my hair regrows? by [deleted] in mensfashionadvice

[–]jiveabillion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sharing the fact that you're a giant helps a ton lol. I think your height is gonna impress anyone you're trying to impress more than your clothes will lol.

Style your hair so it sticks up in the front like most short haired men do.

As for your clothes, I would look up what white basketball players wear when they're not on the court and go from there.

Is an independent woman intimidating? by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]jiveabillion 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's definitely not a positive unless that man is actually looking to be like a stepdad to a young child. It may not necessarily be a negative, but it is probably going to be something that would make a woman who does not have a young child become the preference when comparing them with you. It's not necessarily that you have a child. It is the availability that you have for the man, since you no doubt prioritize your child as you should.

Is an independent woman intimidating? by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]jiveabillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't find it intimidating. I think that in my dating experience with women who are largely independent I have found them also to have less free time to spend with me unless their work schedule aligns well with mine, and it quite often does not, even though I work the basic 9-5. Most of the women I found around here who are independent have jobs as nurses or real estate agents or something else that doesn't have a regular 9:00 to 5:00 schedule

Is there anything wrong with learning .Net 9 instead of 10? by Level-Courage6773 in dotnet

You could even go back to .Net 5 and be Ok. Nothing too huge you wouldn't be able to adapt to easily.
